Mayne Island Resort

Beautiful!

Pros: Receptionist was so lovely and went above and beyond to make our stay amazing! Views were great from the room and very relaxing pool and hot tub

Cons: Walls were a lil thin so could hear people in the hallways but everything got quiet after 10pm so it didn’t bother us too much

Comfortable and clean accommodations with a breathtaking view overlooking Bennett Bay.

Pros: Beautiful location overlooking Bennett Bay. Having the bistro on the property was nice as there are not many dining options on the island. The option of rooms, cottages and villas make this resort a great option for any budget.

Cons: Wifi was not reliable.

Stunning location, gorgeous view, great accommodations

Pros: Stunning location, gorgeous view from our room w/ a balcony! Excellent restaurant on site, open noon to 8pm. Staff very helpful and personable. Comfortable beds, pillows, linens. Great air conditioning. Keurig in our room with real cream in the mini fridge, as well as great coffee ready downstairs by 8 am. Lovely place to walk in the quiet neighborhood as well as the beach and a short trail with a great view. We loved our stay!

Comfortable, stunning view, relaxing, extremely quiet

Pros: The host, Janice, was one of the most gracious persons I have ever met. Her presence made us feel welcome and well taken care of. I would not hesitate to recommend this resort to any friends. We look forward to coming back here many times more.

Pleasant, friendly and comfortable.

Pros: Locally owned and operated business. Homey atmosphere, friendly staff. The on-site Bennett Bay Bistro (not affiliated with the resort), provided good food with good value. We were told that the resort was required to have an on-site restaurant. The pool and hot tub (with shower room) were nice, although it was clear they were not cleaned on a daily basis. Lovely location and view towards the east. Great sunrise!

Cons: Very old and dated building with tiny rooms. Breakfast offerings were poor; coffee, bulk cereal, cheap bread, and jam. At least they had real butter packages and creamers. No boiled eggs, juice, fresh fruit, or pastries on offer. For the rates, I expected better breakfast options, even if offered for a price.

Convenient and great with two decks!

Pros: We didn't eat breakfast at the resort but had dinner a few times. It was very good. I would serve non-pickled beets in the salad, but that's just me.

Cons: We didn't have a laundry facility and understood that the other accommodations had a washer and dryer.

Pros: Stunning view from the room, friendly staff, pool & hot tub and oceanfront location! A family friendly peaceful getaway.

It was quick and would have loved to stay longer… sadly the restaurant experience fell a bit flat.

Pros: Location was beautiful and the cottage was lovely, views were spectacular!

Cons: Umbrella for the patio set would have been beneficial for the hot sun, plus a quick sweep of the patio may have been contributed to a more pleasant aesthetic, few corner cobwebs ?(we get it’s an Island)

Pros: Continental breakfast, hot tub and swimming pool were bonuses. View was fantastic.

Cons: BBQ was very dirty and the burners were so corroded that they looked dangerous (if too much propane came out, it could explode).
