Northwood Plaza Hotel

Pros: It was so quiet. I thought because it was right off the highway, it would be a bit loud. But you could hardly hear the highway. It doesn't look like much from the outside and it's very basic..... but it's clean and a quiet place to stay. And the pizza place at the back of the motel..... best pizza I've had in a long time!!

Cons: If you can't do stairs.... this would not be the place for you. Stairs are steep.... but only 1 flight, so not really an issue.

You cannot go wrong here - although all rooms are upstairs. Clean, comfortable and late checkout.

Pros: The gentleman at the front was so obliging in helping fund a secure place for my bike he let me leave it in the lobby! The room was first class although the air conditioner was a little noisy.

Cons: The bar staff weren't overly friendly- I guess an Aussie doesn't always ask the right questions!

Pros: Never judge a book by its cover. Clean, comfortable, secure, and friendly. I will stay here again.

Good bang for your buck, not fancy but great service and clean.

Pros: The location is away from downtown, quiet and safe. I didn't hear the pub below at all. It was a clean, comfortable, functional room with everything I needed. There is a restaurant next door, but it wasn't open in the morning.

Cons: I am not sure if there is an elevator to get to the rooms, steep short stairs could be a problem for someone with a disability, fine otherwise.

Pros: The staff were absolutely amazing, Nothing was too much. The beds were super comfy and the rooms very clean.

Pros: Very clean, quiet and spacious room with comfortable beds. Nelly's Pub located below motel served excellent food at reasonable prices.

Cons: Run down looking plaza that the motel was situated in.
