Fairways Hotel on the Mountain

Exceptional location, especially if you love golf.

Pros: The room was very comfortable and quite large. We weren't quite expecting the size or the amount of space covering the kitchen and living area as well as the large bedroom and bathroom.

Cons: The gentlemen on reception was helpful enough but not the friendliest personality we'd struck on our travels. My wife and I both felt the same. Not bad but not great as the first impression when we arrived.

Pros: The rural environment was so refreshing. Beautiful landscape and views. Spacious, clean, and very comfortable beds & large bathroom. Jack's Place was so convenient and great food too.

Cons: My family and I witnessed a disturbing incident on Wednesday morning on the first floor when we were going out for breakfast. There was a cleaner with her cart by one of the rooms. We saw another cleaner and what we assumed was the housekeeping supervisor stomping down the hall towards the cleaner girl. The lady was a bit heavy set and was blonde. She verbally attacked the housekeeper at the room door \

Pros: Staff were very interested in our comfort and of great assistance.

Cons: No Restuarant on site, however one located immediately adjacent to property

Pros: Everything was good until one staff member entered our room and told us that we were supposed to be checked out after our 1 night. She questioned us about our 2 night stay told us we should have checked out that morning...it was a shock..my anxiety levels went through the roof. After that the girl was quite snotty towards my husband and I. I will be calling manager today..

Very comfortable and pet-friendly stay up on a mountain with all the amenities and not too expensive

Pros: We did enjoy the location and the room was very comfy and nicely furnished. The kitchen was well-equipped and we didn't have to ask for anything in addition to what was provided in the room. There are some nice hikes nearby

Cons: The only little issue we had was that the guest toilet kept running and produced a bit of a noise even at night. We alerted the staff and they promised to look at it after we left.

Pros: It was lovely, the staff was great, parking was easy. Room was fabulous and roomy and the bath was huge.
