Executive Inn Whistler

Great location, a bit outdated

Pros: Great location very close to the ski lift, restaurants and shops and still no loud noises. Nice, well equiped appartments and friendly staff.

Cons: The appartment could use a renovation because in places like the bathroom or the couch it doesn’t seem clean any more, even if it is cleaned. An upgrade to a smart tv could be done. The elevator does not reach every floor and ski storage is accesible ony by the staff, they will take and get your skis/boards on request.

Excellent stay, good facilities and close to lifts

Pros: Excellent stay at Executive Inn, close to all facilities and ski lift. Room adequate for 1 & 2 people, was good to have kitchen facilities to enable preparation of meals.

Cons: As was located in the main part of village can get a bit of noise of night, though this was never bad.

Good quality rooms in a great location but room serving staff let them down.

Pros: Great location and room had enough space to relax in. Reception staff very helpful.

Cons: The servicing of the rooms was a bit hit and miss. Coffee pods weren’t always replenished nor was the toilet paper. More than once we had to ask the front desk for both. A couple of days they didn’t clean the room at all.

Lovely hotel for a stay to go skiing

Pros: We ended up with an upgrade to a room with sauna on the mountainside hotel which was great. Loved the pool/hot tub access post ski. Great location for getting the gondola up for skiing. Lots of cooking utensils and even a small dishwasher. Staff were friendly and helpful from start to end.

Cons: Would have been good to have more pegs to hang up ski jackets etc.

Excellent location, great value and super staff trump offsite laundry and cozy kitchen :)

Pros: Excellent location close to the Gondolas and Fitzsimmons Chair, and in the heart of Whistler Village. Very good value for money for the location and convenience - hard to beat, really. Ski valet was a lovely surprise and an unexpected luxury, and the staff at concierge were always very lovely and helpful. Fireplace is a nice touch for extra warmth and atmosphere. Il Caminetto restaurant is effectively on site and is fabulous.

Cons: For a longer stay, the kitchenette is really very small with only a half size under bench fridge, two burner stove and microwave (no oven, rice cooker or toaster oven). The layout of our apartment was very cozy indeed and we needed to move the heavy stone table to accommodate enough space for both dining and kitchen functionality. Not a lot of hanging space for drying outerwear (hooks on the wall near entrance would have been helpful) when apartment is fully occupied with 4 adults/teens. No laundry facilities either in the apartment or within the Executive Inn building - these are located within the sister accommodation at Mountainside which is a 5 minute walk away. A mild but not completely insignificant inconvenience when staying for almost 2 weeks. Possibly unique to our apartment but the unit upstairs was likely uncarpeted and allowed every movement on the floor (especially moving around in ski boots but even normal footsteps) to be heard through our ceiling at all hours.

Great property, great vibe.

Pros: Wasn’t planning on staying in Whistler but after staying here was glad I did. My room was great, zero complaints. Many thanks to the Australian lady and Canadian colleague who checked me in on 21 Nov - they were very welcoming and so far have been the best reception team I’ve encountered whilst driving around Canada.

Fabulous location and facilities for the price - some nice extra touches, clean and well presented.

Pros: Central location in the heart of the village with numerous restaurants and bars to chose from. Convenient parking under building - large enough for 1500 truck to fit in - would be tighter if all spaces full but still manageable. Room clever design to maximise small space. Nice touch having decent wine glasses and good coffee machine. Toiletries good quality.

Cons: Could be noisy if busy as can hear people passing room at night and our room was next to elevator shaft but didn’t bother us on this occasion. Couldn’t get the TV to power down.

Excellent Accomodation

Pros: Our room was a wonderful surprise! Very unique, classy & comfortable, with a delightful balcony. The staff were very welcoming & provided excellent service.

Cons: We would like to have been able to stay longer. It was wonderful!

One of my favourite trips in Canada so far!

Pros: Everything, it was perfect! The price is amazing, and I hope it never changes as I will be back to stay here countless of times! One of the best hotels I’ve stayed at in Canada so far.. the rooms were exactly how described and even better in my opinion. The parking is a little confusing, maybe to have a “how to park” section would be ideal!
