Villa Motel

Great stay. Great price. Definitely recommend.

Pros: Room was so clean and quiet and updated furniture and fixtures. Liked the side tables with lamps with usb and regular plug ins for charging devices, the refrigerator and the spaciousness of the room and the bathroom amenities and the fridge!

Cons: Nothing. Check in and out was easy and the host was good at contacting us to confirm our arrival time (we got stuck waiting for Balfour ferry).

A decent sized room for a good price. Lots of storage. Excellent view. Very warm. No complaints.

Pros: For the price it was excellent. As I was walking everywhere it was quite a walk to shops and eating places. It has a great outlook, and was spacious. Great value for the money. And excellent parking.

Cons: All good

Would stay there again if passing through

Pros: The loation was great as we had to make an ferry connection

Pros: The innerspring were very nice. Very accommodating.

Comfortable Stay in Nelson

Pros: The room we rented was a very comfortable suite suitable for a family. The two bedrooms in the suite were fairly small but were okay. The windows were insulated so one could not hear the noise from Highway 3a.

Cons: The two bathrooms were a bit dated, and there was only a basic supply of kitchen utensils, especially cutlery. The stairs might be a problem for some guests. Having two bathrooms in the suite was a real bonus.

Pros: friendly staff, easy check in clean and comfortable room would stay there again

Excellent option

Pros: Great motel - spacious room, friendly staff, nice atmosphere, view. I also liked that each room had a table and two chairs outside. You really get the feeling that they care :-)

Cons: There was a bit of traffic noise - not too bad but not ideal.

Pros: The location was very convenient and we were able to park right outside our room. The room had a surprisingly large TV, which we didn't use but were pleased with. The Wifi was good.

Cons: We would have appreciated more coffee in the room. More than one cup per person. Unfortunately the location of the Air Conditioner meant the bathroom got really cool but the main room did not cool down.

Stayed there many times over the years. Checks all the boxes i need in a hotel.

Pros: Room was clean and the staff were super accommodating and friendly. The hotel has a good view of the mountains and is in a quiet part of town. Lots of parking.

Pros: The staff were incredibly friendly and polite! Clean, bigger rooms than a standard queen in our opinion. Quiet & location was great for us as we had our dog and the beach was a quick 2 min walk away

Cons: Being a dog-friendly motel (with a fee), it's the only one we've stayed at in western Canada that doesn't offer pet amenities, ie anything from a bed, bowls, treats, poop bags or toys or otherwise for the fee of having our dog with us. The motel might as well charge a fee for children as it was no different than us with a our quiet & behaved dog.
