Westview Centre Motel Ltd

Pros: Located in the heart of downtown Powell River, the Westview is within walking distance of all major amenities. The staff at the establishment were extremely helpful and friendly. I had to make a modification to my booking and they were there to help me every step of the way.

Pros: Great location and fabulous view. Easy walk to various restaurants and the harbour. Very clean and friendly staff.

A nice spot to act as home base while exploring the area.

Pros: Located on the main street of a small town. Attended a street festival right outside the property. Self-contained room/suite had everything needed for a comfortable stay, ie. Queen bed, TV, wifi, well-equipped kitchenette with fridge and microwave, big bathroom. Owner is very friendly and helpful. Amazing view of the ocean from front step. Vehicle parking is right outside the front door of the unit.

Cons: The steep hill this complex of rooms is built on is what provides the expansive ocean view. But for anyone with a fear of heights, balance issues, or muscle weakness, the property could be a challenge.

Pros: Awesome little place, only criticism is the bed wasn't super comfortable. Loved everything else

Pros: Clean, great view, close to marina and ferry terminal. Renovated recently, in good condition.

We missed our ferry and needed somewhere to stay and it turned out brilliant

Pros: Easy to find excellent facilities and the most amazing views accross the bay.

Amazing location in the centre of Powell River

Pros: Amazing location with great views. Really nice facilities, smart TV, air fyer/toaster/microwave/sink. Modern and recently updated. Bathroom was clean. Nice to have the patio chairs out the front of the room to sit out and enjoy the sun/views. Close to some really nice restaurants.

Cons: Dead bug in cupboard, ants on steps outside the door. Air fryer quite dirty

Good, friendly place to stay in downtown Powell River

Pros: Overall, a very nice stay. The room was very well-equipped with modern amenities like good TV system , great wifi and an excellent air conditioner unit on the wall. (it was a hot spell in July). You can tell the place has been there for a while but they have done a generally good job in keeping it up to date . ie; card/ key less entry. The staff were all very helpful with my few questions and really seem to care about you enjoying your stay!

Cons: My only issue was a small bit of food residue in the bottom of the kitchen sink strainer .

Pros: Adequate sized kitchen to cook in. Hot plate was old and one side didn't work. Full sized coffee maker. The large Air Fryer was an added bonus. Just have to ask for the pots and pans you require. We managed to make meals for 7 adults.

Cons: We were on motorxycles, and the driveway was steep but we managed

Pros: Accommodating staff, comfortable beds and linens. Lots of kitchen appliances. Just ask for the pots and pans you need. They even provided soya sauce to finish our Asian soup!

Cons: Hot and cold taps were backwards in one of our rooms but no big deal.
