Evergreen Motel

Glad to have stayed in Princeton...welcoming community and good value for the motel and eating out.

Pros: Very welcoming breakfast room, good selection of food...muffins were a nice treat. The owner's care and attention was well reflected in the breakfast and the room...much appreciated!

Cons: Not a big deal but the signage on the roadway could be improved....missed the entrance but it was easy to turn around.

Pros: Quiet and comfortable, suited my needs and owner/manager puts his own continental breakfast on in the morning.

Perfect for short or longer stays.

Pros: Beautiful court yard. Very easy to park my motorcycle. Room is clean and comfy. Towels arrange nice. Owners are very friendly. A simple breakfast is also included if you are hurry. Wish to try the pool.

Cons: Nothing.

Pros: Older but well kept motel. This owner clearly takes pride in what he has. Rooms were beautifully laid out. Excellent for an old style motel.

Cons: Shower floor drain too steeply sloped. Water pressure a little loe. But this is not a complaint given the age of the building.

Pros: The staff was friendly and provided excellent service, knowledgeable about amenities in the area

It was a welcome stop for my family on a long road trip.

Pros: It was right on the highway, had a pool, and the owner gave us lots of great advice about local places to eat and things to see. The breakfast was a continental style and there were lots of choices. He kept the coffee coming and the other guests shared extras. For my kids, having cereal, some fruit and yogurt, and a piece of toast with jam and being able to help themselves was appreciated.

Cons: It had been a while since we had stayed in a motel in Canada, so just the price seemed high, but not compared to other places of a similar caliber and location.

This place was exactly what I was looking for. Pet friendly and people friendly.

Pros: The gentleman who booked me in was friendly and even phoned me when I forgot an item. Very considerate. For the price this was exactly what I was looking for. The TV was easy to use. warm and everything was clean and worked. This place was not a high end place, but it was good value for the price.

Cons: If you are looking for perfection then this is not the place. This is good value for the price.

We used this as an overnight stop on our trip to the Kootenays.

Pros: Breakfast included eggs which was not expected but really appreciated. Very friendly staff.

Cons: Could hear some hiway noise.
