Chalet Continental Motel

One night stop off on our road trip

Pros: Rooms were very clean and the beds extremely comfy. We asked for rooms close to our daughter and children and was given a room directly opposite which was fantastic.

Cons: We requested a cot for our 1 year old grandson. This was not in the room and when we asked at reception the staff could not help.

Pros: The Location was fantastic. The views were incredible. The rooms were massive.

Comfortable and convenient accommodation.

Pros: Comfortable bed/pillow and air conditioning in the room.

Cons: Price was a little high.

Pros: Really clean property, daily room service, comfortable bed. Easy to check in/out.

Valemount is an underrated stopover town, great views.

Pros: Quiet, mostly refurbished room downstairs. Large room with kitchen and full sized fridge. Don't let the outside turn you off. Front desk very good to deal with. Pub and food options close.

Pros: Don't let the outside scare you. We pulled up late at night after a long drive and it was surrounded by snowmobile trucks/trailers. I was a little nervous that it would be noisy or run down but this whole place was very clean & appears to be going through renovations. Our bed was comfier than expected, and the room was immaculately clean with nice fluffy towels in the bathroom. There were upgraded bathroom fixtures, bedroom furniture, and flooring, but I think it's waiting for paint? Our kids used the hot tub and they said it was great and the hot tub area was also clean and well taken care of. Check in was efficient and location is handy.

Cons: Just a note that the address on booking.com takes you to the health unit across the street and down a bit so should be corrected.

Jomar the staff at the reception desk was very helpful & polite.

Pros: Bathroom is outdated like the tub otherwise it was clean.

Cons: none.

Good value and well maintained.

Pros: Hotel is clean and well maintained with ongoing renovations. There is a nice little Korean restaurant next to the hotel.

Pros: Nothing fancy, but it was clean and it had all that we needed. There is a coffee maker provided and a fridge in the room.

Cons: A microwave would have been handy.
