Lakeside Motel

Pros: Comfortable, great views, cozy, and great place for a night or 2 to bunk down.

Cons: Couldn't hook up my PS5 to internet to watch Netflix at night but that's small potatoes

Pros: I had a great experience overall. The location was excellent and made it easy to get where I needed to go. The price was very reasonable for what was offered, making it strong value for the stay. I also appreciated the ample parking, which made coming and going simple and stress-free. I would definitely consider staying here again.

Cons: Room 19 (the corner room) wasn’t ideal for me. It stayed very bright throughout the night, and being on the corner meant there was quite a bit of foot traffic noise from people walking by. At around 5:00 a.m., a diesel truck parked near the door started up and ran for about 48 minutes, which was pretty disruptive — although I understand that part was outside of the hotel’s control. My picture is at 3am with the light shining in.

Wonderful and Charming!

Pros: The rustic feel, the Lakeview, and the clean, decent furniture and soft blankets were amazing. Great and friendly staff. We loved our stay. The rooms have more amenities than usual, which was nice! Would stay again.

Cons: (THIS HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH THE MOTEL. Its just a heads up for people staying.) Beware Google GPS. It'll send you across the street. To someone's house. Just turn around and look toward the lake, you'll see the motel! It even sent our Uber Eats driver there.

amazing view and enjoyed the location

Pros: I enjoyed the view of the lake from my room and my walk around the area it was very nice

Cons: hmm maybe the porch area needs to be cleaned more

Good for what we required

Pros: Good value for money considering it was a stop off point en route elsewhere. Bed was comfortable, bath and shower good. Quiet, ideal for its purpose.

Cons: Although bed and bathroom were fine, the room could do with a thorough clean. Decor is decidedly tired.

OK, but older place without A/C.

Pros: This is an older place and it shows. Things are worn, but clean. The balcony looking over the river was an unexpected pleasure and we spent a fair amount of time out there in the evening.

Cons: The trouble is that the balconies are open from one room to another. The room 2 over had 3 small dogs that came to visit a few times. Not a big deal. What was a big deal is that during the night the dog (s?, two piles) came over into the middle balcony and got sick on the carpet. Not a pleasant thing to see when you are looking forward to having a morning coffee outside. A/C would be a welcome amenity. It was quite warm when we were there and the room got fairly hot, making it difficult to get a good night's sleep. The balcony/deck could have used a good cleaning.

Great value for price.

Pros: Very clean. One room with excellent balcony overlooking lake. Second room suite with separate bedroom. Quiet.

Cons: Table in suite for four people only big enough for two people.

Bonus mini golf!

Pros: Comfy and reasonably priced. Nice view. Wish I we had know about the bbqs ahead of time. Comfy beds great staff. Good value for the price. Free mini golf was fun!

Cons: One of the mattress covers could have done wirh a wash bit other than that it was clean.

Pros: Room was a good size Beds comfortable Great location overlooking the lake.

Cons: 1 ply toilet paper

Pros: The property is located with views onto the lake from rooms with a balcony. Although located next to the highway, the rooms are very quiet. If you are travelling North on the highway, as you enter Williams lake you will see a very large information centre on the right. Slow down, as the property is on the left and although elevated, the sign is above tall vegetation.

Cons: Not a case of not liking, but adding a non slip mat to the bath would have made our stay perfect.
