Eagle's Nest Resort

Delightful stop over spot.

Pros: Really friendly owners. Unique accomadation, very comfortable bed. Wonderful views of the lake from our room and the gardens. Freshly prepared dinner and breakfast if you wish to have this. We had both, and it was really good. The room had a kettle and fridge.

Cons: Please follow website instructions on driving to resort - DONOT follow Google Maps.

Rural, rustic, and full of charm

Pros: The staff were lovely and welcoming, and the dinner was excellent.

Cons: There really isn't anything worth complaining about. The buildings and rooms seem dated, but it's all part of the rural-resort atmosphere so I wouldn't say I didn't like it.

Old world charm with fantastic service

Pros: Lovely old world charm with wonderful hosts. The food was great: breakfast, lunch bags and 3 course dinner at reasonable prices, even had free canoes and advice & maps for trails. Would definitely stay there again

Cons: It’s not close enough to where we come from to visit again

A unique place to make a stopover near a lake on Highway 20

Pros: Eagle's Nest is a small resort, situated at the shore of a small lake adjacent to a forest in the inland plateau just before/after the sporty part of Highway 20. Even if it might apear somehow old fashioned, the resort is in a good shape and well managed by Tim and his wife, who does a very good kitchen (both breakfast and dinner were perfect). Both are very professional and committed old school hosts who turn your stay into an unforgettable \

Excellent property with friendly hosts.

Pros: Excellent location on the lake. Wonderful food. You need to order dinner in advance so they can prepare.

Pros: Anahim Lake is like a little piece of heaven on earth. The resort is so perfectly located. The service was exceptional and our stay was divine. The rooms are simple but very comfortable with everything that you need. Nothing could beat having a coffee and listening to the birds on the dock as the mist lifts off the lake.

Pros: Tutto perfetto! Certo la stanza è un po’ retrò ma è proprio questo il suo fascino. Colazione d cena ottime e vista mozzafiato sul lago. Super consigliato

A quiet place on Anaheim lake shoreline

Pros: Tim is a great host. The location is close to the Bella Coola highway (actually a dirt road). The place is on the lake shore and the restaurant overlooks the beautiful and peaceful lake. Small but cozy room. Easy parking.

A good find away from it all.

Pros: Right on the lake and very quiet. The loons were fun to watch, and we were able to kayak right from the dock. The dinners were fantastic - worth the trip in itself. Our patio had a big screen that was needed!

Cons: The buildings are old and in need of refreshing, but the room was comfortable and the managers do wonders with what they have and their remote location.
