Kootenay Lakeview Resort BW Signature Collection

Great place in the heart of the koots.

Pros: The location was awesome, the beds were very comfortable.

Beautiful place to stay

Pros: We loved staying here - it has a beautiful view of the lake and the room was lovely, very clean and the bed very comfortable. The staff were nice too.

Cons: Our only complaint is the breakfast is served on very flimsy paper plates and paper cups which we're finding seems to happen regularly in Canada. This is new to us as we're from New Zealand and we never do this there. It astounds us as it's all going into landfill. Surely it's not that hard to wash a few nice breakfast plates and cups and save the environment from more landfill? This is more an observation though, rather than a complaint. The hotel is lovely.

Pros: Very clean and modern. The lake view was terrific. A 1st class lodging opportunity.

Peaceful, relaxing, remote

Pros: Beautiful location and view. Staff was very friendly answered all our questions and made sure we had a great visit. The lodge is such a wonderful addition where my kids (8,11) loved playing chess and the breakfast was an extra surprise. Just waffles toast and muffins cereal and tea and juice but it was enough to fuel us until lunch. The room was a little tight and bathroom was even tighter but we didn’t spend much time inside and the outdoor space and lodge makes up for it. We wish we would’ve had more time to stay there and I am sure we will be back in the future

A little piece of heaven in the Garden of Eden (er.. the Kootenays)

Pros: The location was wonderful with all rooms looking out to the lake. Each room had a balcony to enjoy the view. Beautiful golf course next door. Staff was utterly amazing, and bent over backwards to help us with an issue that had nothing to do with the resort. There is a Hot Tub on site, but unfortunately we never found time to enjoy it what with nearby hot springs in Ainsworth & Nakusp.

Cons: Couldn't find ice. A little pricey, but accomodations can be difficult to find during the tourist season so we were quite happy to pay the rate in exchange for the amazing roads and stunning location.

Highly recommend it. Great views and wished we could have stayed longer.

Pros: Location and hotel room were excellent. Warm welcome and fun hot tub.

Overall we had a wonderful stay, and enjoyed waking up to one spectacular view!

Pros: The balcony, and the view were absolutely beautiful. The lobby was great was well.

Cons: The price was fairly high for the amenities that were available. The sounds from other rooms.
