Perfect romantic getaway!

Pros: Beautiful remote and quiet location, very cozy and comfortable lodges that were set up and decorated with great care and provided everything we could have hoped for to the last detail. Loved the cowboy theme and private hot tub in a snowy winter setting! We would have loved to stay longer than just one night.

Amazing stay for animal/nature lovers who also want some luxury! Could not be happier with our stay

Pros: Unbelievably stay, absolutely beautiful, a nature lovers paradise, could not recommend enough.

Cons: The only thing I didn't like was the bed, we stayed in bunkhouse number 2 and the bed ruined my back for the next day. Also when staying at a property like this it is important to keep in mind although it was clean you are staying on a ranch, as such dust and debris will always be present.

FANTASTIC!!!

Pros: Loved everything!! Fabulous setting. The cabin was lovely. Really well equipped. Very cosy. Plenty of towels for the hot tub. Peaceful location. Stunning scenery. Elaine and Al’s hospitality was 10/10. Nothing was too much trouble. Elaine’s breakfast was legendary. So yummy. I could go on and on about how great it was. Al very generously made sure we got on and off the ranch safely in the snow as our car wasn’t up to the job (rental). Highly recommended. Thanks so much to Al & Elaine. We are looking forward to recreating Elaine’s quiche!

Cons: Nothing. All was superb

Rustic, quiet, and beautiful

Pros: It was a lovely cabin, and the views were great. So quiet and relaxing. Having our own hot tub was amazing. Cabins were delightful and equipped with kitchenette, bathroom with shower, tv, DVD player and movies, games, etc. We had the chance to feed the baby calves, too.

Cons: We arrived late and after a storm and didn't really know where to go, but the hostess stepped outside and advised that everything was ready for us in our cabin. We had a hard time unlocking the door, but after a few minutes, we were in. It rained until late afternoon the next day, and we didn't really know what to do besides sitting in our cabin. It would be helpful to have a note in the cabin with details of what activities are available, etc. Once it stopped raining, we went out for a walk and went up to the lodge. As we were ready to enter (sign said come in), someone came out shutting the door quickly behind them. I felt like we were intruding, and maybe we weren't supposed to go in? Or maybe they didn't want to let an animal out? I asked about available activities, and he said it was too wet for riding without offering anything else. I asked about Archery, but he said it was for little kids only. He did say they had fed the calves already, and he probably should have mentioned that to us. I asked about hiking, and he told us about a trail, which was nice but too wet for us to walk. So we headed back to the cabin and watched a movie. I'd hoped we'd get to attend a campfire, but there wasn't any during our stay. We didn't really get to do anything except feed the calves just before we left, leaving us a bit disappointed, but I understand they can't control the rain, and it was needed! If there was a list of activities and times and maybe something planned for rain, that would be perfect as we were a bit bored but it was still very lovely and we'd definitely go back again.

Very restful day for us going nowhere!

Pros: The location was very peaceful and the cabin had lovely views. We enjoyed the hot tub on the deck outside. We also enjoyed helping milk the cow and feed the orphan calves.

Cons: Nothing not to like except it rained all night and day!

Perfect peaceful ranch in Caribou country

Pros: Beautiful ranch with amazing views in a peaceful location. The lodges were spacious and well equipped. The food on offer at the ranch was amazing. Breakfast was spectacular with handmade cinnamon bread and some of the best steak and burgers ever. The children had a hierarchy riding lesson with the patient kind ranch owner and were able to milk the friendly cow. The hot tubs on each balcony were a brilliant addition and lovely to sit and relax in.

Beautiful and quiet hidden gem in country Canada

Pros: Stumbled across this ranch due to last minute travel plan changes and was overwhelmed with the beauty of the property and the people who run it. Everything was organised and meticulous from the time we arrived to the time we left. Alan and his wife were amazing hosts and were so kind. We wish we could have stayed longer and cannot recommend this place highly enough.
