Beautiful home with one acre land for leisure time in Vancouver Island

Awesome place!

Pros: Spacious and a beautiful place for big groups with nice facilities. Ample free parking space for multiple cars. Judy is a wonderful host and was very helpful all the time.

Quiet and clean house surrounded by nature

Pros: This house was in a very quiet and scenic neighborhood. It was pretty close to the supermarket and several beaches. The outside of the house was gorgeous with so many beautiful flower shrubs and trees. There were about four bedrooms with a main bathroom and an en suite. There was an additional bathroom down in the basement with one of the rooms. The house had all the amenities needed to have a great stay (like washing machine, dishwasher, etc.). It is very spacious both inside and outside. The best part would have to be the beautiful patio area surrounded the the garden. There was a comfortable patio set outside. Overall, this place makes you feel like you are living in the middle of a forest because it is surrounded by giant evergreens out back! A cute grey and white cat also paid us a visit and got some scratches.

Cons: We were never told that there would be a tenant living on the property. We were notified of this on the day of arrival. The tenant was quiet but was smoking on the premises whereas it says no smoking in the house rules. This should be noted in the main description so that guests know before booking that there is someone on the property. The only item missing from the kitchen was a dishrack. The lighting above the dining table kept flickering and the shower tap in the upstairs washroom was dripping no matter how tightly the tap was turned off. The bed in the upstairs bedroom to the left of the stairs wasn't very comfortable.
