Architecturally beautiful and a classic 'B&B'

Pros: Fantastic sized room and bathroom. The free pantry was exceptional! Lovely style property. Keycode system worked brilliantly. Wide range of breakfast foods.

Cons: Breakfast finished too early, a small extension would be preferred. Room, (particularly bathroom), looking very tired and in need of significant practical and aesthetic maintenance. Rooms not particularly soundproof and unfortunately the penthouse guests were extremely inconsiderate at night during my stay - not the fault of the property but perhaps could enforce/highlight the house rules re noise and unsocial hours a bit more forcibly at check-in.

My stay at the O Canada House was a joyful one.

Pros: The location is very good, close to restaurants, shops, just need to walk for several minutes. Room is spacious, especially the toilet and bathroom is very clean. The propery provides daily breakfast, which is very nice. You can get food and drinks from the pantry whenever you want. The housekeeper is a very nice and helpful lady. The propery provides parking space as well, which is very convenient to us.

Cons: The bed is a bit too soft for us.

Great value and pleasant stay.

Pros: Central position and great buffet breakfasts. All day access to tea, coffee and snacks. Friendly staff and we were able to get a reserved parking place, which we really appreciated. Great value.

Pros: Lovely homely feel and very close to main Burrard Street so easy access to town - excellent restaurants eg Joey Burrard close by. Pleasant neighbourhood and safe. House is furnished with antique furniture and fittings. Beds very big and comfortable. Staff who clean and prepare breakfast very friendly and helpful. They make it feel like home. Snacks and drinks available all day which is a great bonus.breakfasts very good variety of uncooked and cooked. We loved it😀Electronic key entry system very good. Owners are contactable by free phone and respond quickly to any query and are helpful.

Cons: Wish we could have stayed longer - no concerns about the house.

Great place to stay. Well located, clean and comfortable

Pros: Self check in was straightforward. The 24x7 pantry was a great bonus. We arrived late at night, let ourselves in, got settled and then popped into the pantry for a cup of tea/coffee and a snack. Staff were very helpful and friendly and breakfast the next morning was great. Location was great for a quick walk around Vancouver (only stayed 1 night). Would stay again for sure.

Pros: The history is at its forefront and what a location only a few minutes’ on foot to the waterfront. We loved our time (too short!) here at O’Canada. Delightful breakfast, comfortable bed and a fabulous claw foot bath! The range of books, games and information about Vancouver and Canada in general did not disappoint. Such a friendly, warm place with great energy. Hope to be back one day.

Pros: Wonderful historic property. Great location. Great to have a ‘pantry’ for guests. Room was beautiful & bed was very comfy.

Cons: We have stayed here before and we didn't like the change to the breakfast. Last time we stayed the breakfast was cooked for you but now it was a help yourself
