Jennifer's House

Best stay we have ever experienced.

Pros: Access to a nice kitchen where Jennifer was available in the morning to actually make coffee for us, and the room and bathroom were super clean and comfortable.

Cons: The only thing I could suggest would be a bath mat for the tub as it was a bit slippery.

Pros: Clear instructions for late check in and quiet place

Very good but inconvenient transport to attractions.

Pros: Accommodation was excellent and very clean and modern. Host was friendly and helpful. Excellent location for the airport

Cons: Distance away from town and amenities. It took a bus ride and then a skytrain ride to get downtown or an expensive taxi ride; The location proved to be a little bit difficult for us. The accommodation was also in a house where the owners lived and as the coffee and teas were in the family kitchen, we felt a little like we were trespassing on the family territory. Tea / coffee making facilities in the room would have been great. This was however a very nice property

Pros: The room and facilities were outstanding. Everything was spotlessly clean and the bed was extremely comfortable. Jennifer was a great host and helped us with the public transport that was a two minute walk from the property. Using a bus and the Sky train it only took 20 minutes to get to downtown Vancouver. We would highly recommend using Jennifer's House if you are visiting Vancouver.

Perfect base for exploring the city

Pros: We had a very nice stay here, the perfect base to explore Vancouver for two days. Our room was very clean and comfortable, and the host was very nice. It is in the suburbs but you can easily reach any part of the city with public transport or taxi

Cons: Nothing - everything was great

Pros: We rented 2 bedrooms with a shared bathroom (just for us). The rooms were nice and very clean. There are 4 rental rooms with its own key pad lock, located on the second floor. Two of the rooms have its own private bathroom.

Cons: We sent messages a few times and didn't receive responses. They were best respond via phone call.

Exceptional

Pros: Our stay was fantastic. The house was impeccably clean, and we felt very comfortable and had privacy in our room. Jennifer was incredibly friendly and even offered to drive us to the airport, which was extremely convenient.

Cons: The location is distant from downtown but close to the airport (you can't have both, right?). We used public transportation and had to walk for a short 10 minutes. No big deal for us, as we walked the entire day.

Peaceful & clean

Pros: Peaceful & clean. It’s quite a way from the city which we thought was a negative but it turned out okay because we quickly learned how to use the public transport system which is cheap, easy and frequent. An absolute necessity if you don’t have a car.

Pros: Great and comfortable room, very good Wi-Fi, uncomplicated kitchen-use, downtown with bus and skytrain easy to reach.

A home away from home.

Pros: Jennifer was a delightful host/owner and went out of her way to help us by storing our luggage. We really enjoyed the house and the area it was in.
