Pros: Big living room downstairs with a great kitchen and a nice fire place

Cons: Rooms upstairs are small and warm

Great stay, great hostel, great value for money

Pros: The kitchen was large with two large fridges, plus a freezer. Large amount of plates and cookware, two stoves, lots of room to cook in the kitchen. The common area was very spacious plus a fireplace. The dorm bunks were very comfortable with privacy curtains plus lockable storage. And HVAC unit in the dorm to keep it comfortable. Lots of kitchen utensils. I was impressed with the kitchen.

Cons: If the bathrooms had a air dryer so I wouldn't need to grab my towel every time I jumped in there. Not interested in using the communal towel... I just used the paper towel by the kitchen sinks 😁

Comfortable, well located, great views, a few things could be improved.

Pros: Dreamcatcher Hostel is always a great place to stay. It’s a perfect spot to meet other travelers while still feeling comfortable and relaxed. The view of the surrounding mountains is absolutely stunning and adds so much to the experience. The hostel is very well located, right in the center of Golden, close to everything you need: cafés, bars, microbreweries, grocery stores, gas stations, and more. Everything is within walking distance, which makes it super convenient. The place is very clean, the beds are comfortable, and I really appreciate the privacy features in the dorms. Each bed has its own curtain, which is great when you want some quiet time, and there’s also a personal locker for each guest (don’t forget to bring your own lock). Overall, a welcoming, well-managed hostel that I would happily recommend and return to.

Cons: One area that could use improvement is the kitchen equipment. The hostel is due for a refresh of the dishware: there were not enough cereal bowls, and good-quality knives that actually cut were missing, which made cooking a bit frustrating at times. I also noticed a difference this year in the atmosphere with the staff. The current group of young workers seemed less approachable and not very friendly. It was difficult to interact with them — often no greeting, no eye contact — which gave the impression of being invisible. This was quite different from my experience at the same time last year, when the vibe felt much warmer and more welcoming.

Great place to stay & make friends :)

Pros: A great hostel with a wonderful atmosphere! The shared space downstairs lends itself well to hanging out and making friends! I met someone who I ended up traveling with for 2 days. Privacy curtains around beds are also a big plus. Proximity to IGA for ingredients also great.

Good vibes stay in the middle of town.

Pros: Great dorm room with privacy curtain, individual light and plug. Awesome common area with wood fire and good kitchen.

Cons: It was hot at night and the beds too short for me personally.

Great Stay and Service

Pros: Great location, Great Value for money, Very Clean Free coffee Great service by Tam and the rest of the crew ✨ Definitely gonna come back next time when in town✨🇨🇦

Cons: There wasn't Any Breakfast option or activities in the evening but the area is so full of stuff to do and there's a supermarket literally in front of the Hostel where u can get some fresh sandwiches/salads and of course some cafes around:)

Wonderful gem of a hostel :)

Pros: What a great hostel! The bunks felt private and not to cramped, even with 6 beds per room. Lots of washrooms and showers and the common area was bustling and kitchen in good use when I arrived. Met some lovely people and shared food and recommendations. Amazing chill vibes!

Cons: The reviews about the trains are correct- there were a lot of trains overnight. I had earplugs and likely wouldnt have been able to sleep without them. That said my bed was closest to the window facing the tracks and it was open

Pros: Enjoyed our stay, it was nice and clean and tidy. The receptionist was very helpful and it was very close to restaurants and bars.

Pros: The crew were very kind and helpful. Pretty clean and good location.

Excellent place in Golden - highly recommend it.

Pros: Fabulous hostel with all the amenities you could ask for, comfy sofas books, complete kitchen and free tea and coffee. Highly recommend this place. In fact it’s far better than a fancy hotel we’re staying in now in Lake Louise.

Cons: Everything was just right. Was also given a great dinner recommendation near by - Mexican very tasty and reasonably priced. Don’t dither just book it.
