Banff International Hostel

Enjoyable stay

Pros: Public area is comfortable, feel like home Kitchen is big Location is convenient

Cons: Mattress is soft, and duvet is thin Bed curtains are hung poorly with broken plastic curtain rings, and they cannot cover all sides of the bed Towels and showergel/shampoo/conditioner are not given unless u ask, and they may not b guaranteed items Cleaning cycle for room, bathroom and kitchen will need to be more frequent to keep the cleanliness all time

Pros: Felt safe and comfortable - staff were very helpful and accommodating for any needs - Great value for money, extremely clean rooms and breakfast provided which I wasn’t aware of which was a bonus!

Great hostel in Banff

Pros: I liked that the hostel is located on the main street in Banff, but not in a loud area. There is a kitchen downstairs and free breakfast, the staff is kind and helpful, there is also a laundry facility, which comes in handy if you're staying long term. My dorm had a bathroom inside

Cons: Like everywhere in Canada, the price is very high for a dorm in a hostel

Comfortable beds, small kitchen

Pros: The beds are very comfortable, the room was clean. Location is very handy being on Banff Ave. Laundry facilities were good!

Cons: As others have said, the kitchen is small. I tried to use it at quieter times of the day. A lot of the guests really didn't seem to know how to share a kitchen well with others, which just made it feel smaller.

I didnt expect such a high standard they had everything i needed

Pros: My dorm had its own bathroom. There was a really good free breakfast included. The dorm was cleaned each day. Staff were so helpful the standard was high and i was very pleasantly surprized by the facilities

Cons: I cant fault the facilities or staff.

Pros: Stayed in this hostel twice: first time in a 6 people bedroom and second time in a 4 people bedroom. 4 people bedroom had much more space and was generall much more comfortable!

Has everything you need, quiet and clean

Pros: It was clean, the service was done every day. The personnel was nice and reactive. The bed was comfortable. The breakfast was good. And it is not in the center of Banff where they can be noise so it was quiet during the day and night

Cons: More electric plugs. The ones near the bed were a bit far. But it is already better than some hostel where there aren't any.

Recommend.

Pros: Good location, beds had curtains, a light and PowerPoints for each. Rooms have lockers. We even had a fridge. Friendly staff. Good breakfast in the morning with coffee and pancakes!! Parking is free and essential!

Cons: Could have been a little cleaner but overall not bad. bathroom in room had no soap the whole time I stayed.

Good value and convenient location.

Pros: Reasonable continental breakfast; very good location; quiet rooms

Cons: TV in room did not work.
