It's the first time that we stayed at Metterra and we'll definitely be back.

Pros: Excellent location in the Garneau area with plenty of restaurants and walking areas nearby. The breakfast was excellent and the service was great. Our room was very quiet.

Cons: The only downside was that parking is a block and a half away, and with temperatures of -20C it was a little subpar. Highly recommend paying the extra $5/day for valet parking if this is an issue.

Pros: I liked the staff, location and ease of access to facilities inside hotel.

Cons: The pillows were very uncomfortable. The TV was outdated and offered limited options.

Great experience at the Metterra

Pros: Clean and comfortable room. Great location. Very good complimentary breakfast and nice quality soaps and shampoo in the bathroom

Cons: The hotel didn't have any vending machines to purchase drinks or snacks, and only one complimentary bottled water was provided for a 2 guest room. Parking was provided but be prepared to walk several blocks

Great!

Pros: Everything was great, pretty good location with buses nearby, many restaurants around. Approx. 15 mins to the downtown. Enjoyed our stay.

Pleasant stay. Good value for the money.

Pros: We had two rooms side by side at my request. I lucked out because I ended up with a huge room. The smaller one was ok though. Breakfast was decent as far as quality & variety. Parking is 2 blocks away so valet parking is convenient just make sure you leave time ahead to have your car ready. Staff were exceptionally friendly.

Cons: Coffee machine semi worked but it was mediocre. Also, hate drinking it or juice out of a cardboard cup. Need to set up better recharging beside the bed. Need to upgrade TV channels. No CNN or MSNBC.

Great location for a relaxed stay in the heart of Edmonton.

Pros: Location is great to visit Strathcona Market, shops and restaurants.

Cons: Parts of the hotel are looking rather tired. Eg, lobby furniture ; fireplace in lobby sitting area was not working.

Nice stay

Pros: The hotel was cosy and well-equipped and the location was excellent

Cons: One member of staff at the reception was quite short with us and ignored us for quite some time. There was an issue with our booking which we understood - but the member of staff could have been friendlier about it
