Holiday Inn Express & Suites - Edmonton SW – Windermere by IHG

Short stop in Windermere.

Pros: Great location for what we were doing in area. Good amenities including breakfast and underground parking. Rooms larger size was a bonus.

Cons: Not much. Bath was smallish.

Perfect getaway

Pros: 2nd time staying here. Breakfast was awesome, a variety! The room was spacious, and bed was comfy. The underground parking was a bonus. Friendly staffs, overall a great experience! Will definitely stay here again on the next visit.

Pros: The breakfast was fabulous and the room was clean. Really enjoyed our stay.

I enjoy my stay everytime I come here.

Pros: I stay here every 3 months for my medical appointments. The staff is always very friendly and helpful. Rooms are very clean. I enjoyed the hot breakfast items today. So much to choose from. I also discovered I can connect my hearing aids to the Bluetooth feature found in the sound setting in the TV menu. This makes hearing the TV so much better.

Excellent place to stay

Pros: I love the location it's near on the places I went. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. Room is clean and so spacious.

We were happy with our stay and would book again if we needed a hotel in that area.

Pros: The breakfast was very good. There was good variety, the containers were kept full and the food was hot. There was plenty of seating.

Pros: Central to highway and close enough to location we needed to go to. Quiet. Used laundry facilities which was great for not having to find separate laundromat. Excellent breakfast and very spacious area. Good pillows, bed and linens

Cons: Road construction right beside hotel made it difficult to navigate in the area and access the highway (out of their control) An emense amount of outside garbage. Some garbage left by guests and lots was probably blown in. Cigarette butts everywhere. Dead flowers in outside planters. It gives a very poor image to a really nice hotel. That should be a daily job to clean up litter

Newer family friendly hotel with fabulous self-serve breakfast.

Pros: Hotel is new and very clean. The room was spacious, TV was large and clear. Mattress was comfortable with good support. Plenty of electrical power outlets (USB's) in the room. Breakfast (included) was excellent. Good choice of hot foods, hot and cold beverages, breads and cereals. It was missing herbal tea. Front desk staff was friendly, welcoming and helpful.; however only 1 of the 3 I met had a name tag, Room had a coffee and tea station, microwave and mini fridge with freezer compartment. Location is just off the Anthony Henday ring road.

Cons: Seems maintenance may be an issue: the swimming pool was shut down due to repairs, There was no indencation of this when I booked the night before arrival. It is one of the features I selected for the search. the pool area shared shower room door lock did not work. The elliptical machine I sued in the exercise room had no functioning TV.
