The Thompson Hotel

Pros: There was a small inconvenience where the power was going to be out the next morning during our stay, and the management and staff were very helpful. They searched for another hotel to see if that would work for us and gave us other room options. We needed to extend our stay in the morning due to my partner having an appt at the hospital, and the other hotels were not able to accommodate that, so we were given a family room so we had more space to hang out the next day. This was all offered at the original price and was all handled professionally, with patience and a smile even while assisting other customers and answering phones. The room was clean, and the beds were comfortable. We hardly even noticed the power outage the next morning. I would definatly recommend staying here, and will stay here again if we have the chance.

Pros: Spacious room with a very comfortable bathroom. Everything you could need, was in the room. Staff were terrific and allowed me to check in early and ledge bags temporarily. Appreciate their help

Pros: Fantastic size room, very comfortable. Easy walking distance to all downtown restaurants, cafes etc. Staff were great and the spa and pool also great.

Cons: Not the hotel's fault, but a kids hockey team were staying at the hotel and running up and down the halls. Walls seem thin so you could hear a lot of the noise from outside the room.

Pros: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I had a wonderful stay at the Thompson Hotel in Kamloops. The owner, Pav, was incredibly lovely and thoughtful and truly went above and beyond to make my stay enjoyable. Her kindness and genuine care made a real difference—some people simply bring joy into the world, and she is absolutely one of them. I felt welcomed, valued, and well taken care of. Highly recommend staying here if you’re visiting Kamloops

Pros: Location is great, my bed was super comfy and we could enjoy the pool and hot tub as late as 11pm. Laundry facilities as well!

Cons: There was nothing we didn't like

Pros: It is a pet friendly hotel. The front desk was very accommodating and permitted me to switch rooms to better accommodate me & my dog. I liked the downtown location and proximity to local restaurants and the fenced dog park.

It was nice and queit

Pros: IT was close to downtown so you could walk everywere.

Cons: The matresstop and fitted sheet did not fit the bed.had to fixs it a couple of time thru the night.it keep coming off and i would be sleeping on the matters theu the night

Hotel is close to restaurant and supermarket. Location is good. Room size is decent. Bed is comfortable. Kettle and coff

Pros: It’s clean, decent size room and bed. Kettle and coffee machine also available which is a plus!

One night stay - Very good

Pros: We went there just for one night on our way to the Rockies. We arrived quite late and left early, so we did not make a lot of use of the hotel facilities. The room was very good, clean and big. There were a lot of kids on the hotel and for one moment we thought we might have a lot of noise during the night, but it was perfect. The parking was really good and personnel indicated it perfectly.
