After a long drive we found the perfect place to stay overnight. The room, food and staff were all great.
Pros: Lovely hotel. Beds were very comfortable and staff were very helpful. The food was great too. Also there was plenty of parking.
Cons: There was nothing to dislike about the property.

Highly Recommended
Pros: Great location for a road trip stop. Right off the highway with lots of amenities close by including: 711, Wal-Mart, Save on, and Denny's Facilities were modern, clean, and well kept up. Had a gym and pool. Rooms and beds were comfortable.
Cons: We booked two king rooms. Both were the same price. Surprisingly, one was spacious 314 and the other 313 was quite cramped. 313 was so cramped that there wasn't much room between the bed and little dining table. While trying to get to bed, my leg was gouged by the metal clip on the bed to keep the mattress in place. It drew blood. A few concerns about this. This room may be too small for a king bed There should be a lower price for the cramped room How can you tell if the room you are booking is a spacious or cramped king room

Great Location. Clean and Quiet.
Pros: Unless you need to be in Downtown Quesnel, this is a great location with easy highway access. There is a Denny's restaurant attached and several more restaurants, plus a large Walmart, a No Frills Food and a Canadian Tire Store all located nearby. Our room was very clean and quiet and had plenty of storage. There where nightstands with separate lights and USB ports on both sides of each bed. All staff we encountered were very friendly and helpful.
Cons: The 2 beds were doubles, not queens and we would have preferred something a firmer. They weren't bad, just, not a lot of room and support and you tend to sink toward the middle when 2 people are sharing a bed. The indoor pool and hot tub are nice, but the water temperature in the pool was on the cold side. Not just this hotel, but something the irks me in general. If you book a room for 4 people, it should be stocked with 4 wash cloths and 4 bath towels. Why do hotels never seem to stock the room with enough for each guest to have their own forcing you to have to ask for more.

Pros: The rooms and hallways have been completely refinished. Beautiful new furniture and comfortable beds.
Cons: The air conditioner was ridiculously loud. I couldn't keep it on because of the noise. With the reno I thought quiet new ones would have been put in. The back rooms of the hotel face No Frills parking lot where semi trucks park and stay. The noise of the trucks running was constant throughout the night. If light bothers you sleeping, bring an eye mask. The curtains do not fully close, and a lot of light comes in via the sides as well.

Convenient and consistent service and stay.
Pros: I like the location of this hotel when driving long distances. The upgrades to the rooms look amazing but I was surprised that the bed didn’t seem new, the mattresses are still soft and lumpy but I still slept well. The staff are always friendly, professional, helpful and welcoming at this location, this trip was no exception.
Cons: My only complaint would be the overly soft and lumpy beds.

Very nicely renovated hotel for peaceful stay
Pros: The decor is fresh and modern, right from the lobby to the rooms and anywhere in between. The staff I interacted with were all lovely too.
Cons: Only two minor suggestions: 1) The lighting in the single Queen room was very white and bright; a slightly warmer light in the bedside bulbs would be more comfortable to look at (they're not covered) and read with. 2) The room service menu wasn't very appealing for vegetarians or folks looking for something wholesome or cozy.

This hotel is a hidden gem due to its location and friendly, efficient staff. Good value for money.
Pros: I like the location of the hotel when I’m traveling through the city. It’s quiet and out of the way so it seems like the parking is much safer then the downtown area. There is a restaurant attached to the hotel and shops near by. The staff is always super friendly to me and very accommodating. It’s a very personable experience staying there and that’s a rare commodity these days. It’s a relief to know you’re welcome.
Cons: I am aware that this facility is frequented by many resource extraction workers and is often full so I’d recommend booking ahead. Some of the rooms are pretty run down because of this, but they are currently under renovations to remedy that. If you’re room smells of booze upon arrival, pull out the bottom drawer in the dresser, these workers like to stash beer under it. Last visit there was a case of both opened and unopened cans hidden there so the room was clean but still smelled strongly of booze. I did bring it to the front desk and alert them to this practice so hopefully they are checking themselves.

Perfect stop for a night on our road trip up North to see the family.
Pros: I have stayed here before, was very basic, but clean. We were given a newly upgraded room and it was very nice! Staff were very friendly at check in, and I booked early, and got a great rate.
Cons: We took snacks and bought salads for dinner, but no glassware in rooms. I understand they are eco friendly, but that is a must for any hotel basic. It was a very hot day, and the 2 paper ones were not sufficient for ice water, and a glass of wine. Guest services did deliver 2 glasses, but did say was not the norm.
