Tunnel Mountain Resort

Pros: Excellent hotel for a reasonable price. Beds were very comfortable.

Cons: Lack of parking available by our unit!

Pros: Warm, clean lodge. Fully equipped. Handy laundry. Location was peaceful with option of bus into town. Free passes provided. Staff couldn’t do enough for us with answers to questions and things we didn’t know about.

Wonderful, I would stay there again.

Pros: The room was spacious and spotlessly clean. Lovely hot showers. The location was good, right next to a bus stop which took you into Banff and for which the resort provided free bus passes. Staff members were very friendly and helpful.

Cons: The table in the room was small if four guests were sharing the room. No on site restaurant but it’s very easy to get into Banff in about 5 minutes on the bus.

Pros: Bus easy access to downtown and hill, good walk to downtown. Lovely quiet hotel .

Cons: No hot tub and need to fix steam room ...not working properly.

Pros: Excellent location—close to the city center, but away from the hustle and bustle. The room was very spacious and clean, and I especially loved the balcony with its stunning mountain view.

Cons: The only minor issue was the noisy fridge :)

Cozy spot

Pros: Location, tucked up in the mountains, not far from Banff center. Room was clean and spacious. Loved the kitchenette, came in handy. Loved the balcony with lovely views of the mountains. Nothing beats having coffee on a balcony with mountain views. It's quiet in the night.

Cons: Parking is challenging. First come first served basis, so when coming home later, hard to find parking.

Pros: Nice room with full kitchen. Nice view. Liked that they provided free bus pass to town.

Pros: Location, layout of room, two different types of blinds, real fireplace

Cosy and comfortable apartment in a peaceful location

Pros: Apartment was well equipped with all the necessities. Very comfortable beds. Open fire was fantastic. Staff were very helpful and friendly and nothing was a problem. The included bus tickets were great to get around Banff. Bus stop right out front of resort was very convenient especially given the snow and icy conditions. Only a 5 min ride into central Banff.

Cons: Sofa needed a good clean. Gym facilities were not great and a few machines were out of order. Pool was in a completely different building to the gym, sauna and steam room. There was a spa in the building with sauna but covered up and out of action which was very disappointing as that’s what we would have used.

We loved it!

Pros: The location and the feel of the cabins was lovely. The kitchens, while small, had everything we needed as a family of 4 to eat in. The layout worked well with having the children on the upper level, despite the steep stairs :)

Cons: Our only criticism was that the open wood fireplace caused the smoke alarms to go off and the cabin to fill with smoke. We found the funny side despite having to open all the windows and the door in very cold temperatures. When we investigated, the extract switch on ours wasn't even there. It would be useful if these could be checked as we were really looking forward to our lovely open fire.
