Cosy and relaxing

Pros: Excellent helpful and friendly staff. Fantastic location in Yoho. Cosy cottages with fires. Ability to star gaze and sit by outdoor fire. Wonderful food at restaurant and great service - albeit quite expensive.

Cons: No fridges in the cottages - we were able to access the staff fridge which was kind, but overall it is not acceptable to not provide fridges given most people are driving across the country and have supplies with them. Also, not enough seats by the fire pit.

Fall magic in Yoho.

Pros: The location, services offered by the lodge including dining and shuttles to Moraine Lake. The lodge was beautiful this time of year - located right next to the Kicking Horse river and Cathedral Mountain. The staff mentioned to us that their accommodation and meals are catered for by the Lodge. The staff are wonderful - special mention to Erica and Dominic who shared stories and tips on where to visit. Sarah and the rest of the team treated us to a small bottle of champagne in celebration of our honeymoon on arrival.

Cons: The bathrooms are dated. The dinners were rather expensive.

Lovely but for the money could be better

Pros: Location was central to lots of sights in yoho and Banff national parks. Food was excellent. Staff really friendly and helpful. Great vibe that made it a relaxing stay.

Cons: For the money it missed some small touches such as bottled water & milk in room. Bathroom was looking a bit tired. Cabins quite close together.

Go, it’s a wonderful place

Pros: The cabin, the food, the excursion to Lake Moraine and especially the staff - all wonderful.

Cons: Close to many attractions and great hikes, we did find that between the river, the highway and the train it can be noisy

Great place to stay in Rockies

Pros: Location is great, rooms are amazing. Personnel are very helpful and guide us for all nearby locations. We also have chance to have dinners onsite and it was also very good. Special thing about the room was the fire place and we used it regularly, it was very nice that everything was already setup and ready for us when we checked in.

Pros: Beautiful location and cabins. Very cozy with the fires and great food in the restaurant. The staff was very friendly and welcoming.

Amazing wilderness location to stay and relax

Pros: Amazing lodge at the foot of Cathedral Mountain. Cabins luxurious and dinner was excellent. Very helpful staff and great courtesy bus to Moraine Lake - highlight of our trip

Pros: The cabins the firepit the lodge and restaurant were all excellent!

Awesome log cabins in a great location

Pros: Amazing location, and lovely log cabins set on the banks of the river with stunning mountains.

Cons: We were a little disappointed on the last day as there were no pasties and no salmon on the small breakfast menu. No alternative was offered . Tea was served lukewarm and staff seemed a little overwhelmed. Guests need to be aware to book in for breakfast as on our last morning we were told we hadn’t been booked in, which made us feel uncomfortable as our three nights included breakfast.
