Summit River Lodge & Campsites

Pros: Very spacious unit, nice and quiet, even though there're trains passing by all the time, somehow, it doesn't bother much. Kitchen utilities are well provided.

Cons: None

It was a goid stay the grounds are beautiful.

Pros: Our stay here was nothing short of excellent ❤️ 🏡 The place is very well maintained with all the amenities you need for this location. 🥚 🍞 🍊 Breakfast options were more than enough! The host Terri and his family made our experience all the more great. Such friendly, nice, and helpful people!! Terri is a rarity, you'll feel like you've known him for years 😊 Don't miss staying here for at least 2 nights or more, you are going to enjoy it 👍🏽 💯 I will highly recommend this place to all my friends and will return whenever I can.

Best get away ever!

Pros: The lodge has a nice , unique feel, offering spacious areas to relax, dine, watch TV, and meet with people. Nice area for walks, a lot of outdoor areas to sit and relax as well. They offer a very nice continental breakfast to start your day. The kitchen is available for those who like to prepare their own lunch or dinner. I noticed BBQs on the decks for those who like to prepare a meal grilling.

Cons: There is very little not to like with this place, but keep in mind, if you have mobility issues, be sure to reserve a room on the main floor. The stairs to the second level may present a bit of a challenge. We found the staff very accommodating once they are aware of these situations.

A fabulous place to stay

Pros: The property was extremely well kept and maintained. Swimming in the creek was fantastic. I was very pleased to meet the marmot who recently took up residence 😄

Cons: We had a chalet which was pretty cold in the evenings but there were no extra blankets so it was a bit chilly. Definitely would stay again though.

Pros: Great location! Staff were very friendly and helpful — especially Jade, who went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. Highly recommend this hotel!

Cons: The breakfast experience could be improved by ensuring that food is available for all guests consistently. It would also be helpful to have a staff member present between 7–10 am to monitor the breakfast area and make sure everything is well stocked and running smoothly

We really enjoyed staying here. Great character with beautiful grounds and view

Pros: The location with beautiful mountain view. The welcome. Watching humming birds. Walking in the property grounds. Being able to use the washing machine and dryer. Help yourself style breakfast, drinks and snacks.

Great accommodations and hosts

Pros: The hosts and facilities were amazing! It was very comfortable and clean and they were excellent hosts.

Cons: There is a train that runs right past the lodge all through the night. 2 of our party slept through it but one was awoken by every train and hardly slept the 2 nights we stayed. Just something to keep in mind if you are a light sleeper.

Pros: Convenient to the travels along hwy 5. Big common area. Host was very friendly.

Cons: Although the train was quiet. Your extremely close to tracks. They don't blow horn but be informed. Frequent trains. Hottub on site would be nice to use even in summer.
