Best motel in Barriere!

Pros: Very friendly staff and the rooms were quiet compared to other motels in Barriere. The rooms were spacious and could heat up quickly. We stayed in every motel in Barriere to try them out while visiting family and this one we visited twice as it was so much better than the rest. In total we stayed for 2 nights in 2 different rooms on the second block they have.

Cons: On our second night the bed was very hard I needed to check it was a mattress but you could see it was brand new so I doubt it will stay like this for long. Our bed on the first night was perfect, I think that was room 9 on the ground floor!

Pros: Position. Reception staff v friendly. Freshly decorated rooms, clean towels each day, good supply of tea and coffee. Simple to use microwave. Lovely bed and sheets

Cons: Furniture bit tired, but fully serviceable

Nice family run motel

Pros: Nice family run motel. I needed a budget room to rest on my way to Vancouver and I got pretty good value for my money. The motel is a bit dated, but it's well maintained by the family that runs it. The town of Barrière has some good amenities, including a well stocked grocery store.

there are three motels I like the best during my thirty years hunting. Y 5 is one of them.

Pros: very clean. for that kind of money I paid. worth every penny. staffs are very friendly and helpful.

Reasonable place to stay for the cost per night, Will stay there again when I am passing through.

Pros: Room was convenient on the ground level, inside was very clean and amenities were upgraded and modern. Had a kitchenette and SS fridge and microwave oven. TV had a reasonable amount of channels. Very quiet location with little traffic. Temperature was comfortable.

Cons: Could have used more outlets outlets to plug in the laptop near the kitchen table. WiFi was slow but a typical speed found in most hotels and motels, but at least it worked.

Pros: Great price! very perfect! No price hikes by new owners due to rising interest rates! I've been walking along the way, most of them are priced from $200-$400, Y5motel is less than $100, the quality is the same as that of $200-$400. You can walk to bars and restaurants.

Comfortable and Clean

Pros: Rooms were very clean and smelt fresh. Beds were comfortable and crisp clean bedding. Desk clerk was very friendly, kind and loaned us a phone charger to charge our phones overnight. Would definitely stay again if we needed too.

Cons: Door was a bit sticky in opening and needs to be shaved at the top. Same with bathroom door.

I would stay again passing through to the northlands

Pros: Nice new bedspreads. Well appointed room, easy extension on my two days.

Cons: Ran out of 🧻 and should have gone for more towels but was too lazy.
