We had a last minute family invitation so stayed one night but paid for 2 as expected.

Pros: There was no breakfast. Staff helpful when asked. The view was lovely but the window was too close to the road to leave curtains open.

Cons: The road was very close and very noisy. Air conditioner also very noisy. There was no guest registration form to fill out which seemed strange so was told she had no information about what I paid. Was unable to get a receipt itemizing the cost of the stay. Told only Booking.com had that.

Pros: Amazing staff that went above and beyond!! They let us check in early and when I forgot a pair of pants in the room after check out, they retrieved them and mailed then directly to me in alberta. Highly recommend and will definitely be staying there in the future.

Cons: Absolutely nothing!

A comfortable stay in Ladysmith

Pros: The location is very nice. It’s located a block down from the main part of town with shopping and restaurants readily accessible. There’s plenty of parking behind the motel. The people who run the motel are very friendly. The bed was comfortable and my room had a large balcony on which I could enjoy the evening.

Cons: While clean, it is in need of a bit of a refresh as the property is clearly several decades old. Not a major issue,but worth mentioning, I feel. Also, oddly, the taps in the shower were reversed so for the longest time I thought there was no hot water. When I decided to try the other way, voila, hot water!
