Simple, good value

Pros: Good value based motel Was clean. Bed comfy. Strong wifi...

Cons: Hot water was not hot... Shower temp was ok but a couple extra degrees would ma e it great. In need of repair and updating BUT everything worked, everything clean.... So great for price

Pros: I liked the kitchenette upgrade .the price was very reasonable.

Cons: I would have liked more coffee

Pros: Reading the comments and reviews, we were worried about cleanliness, but it was better than expected, for the online options we could find for the budget. The building seems old, that's why my be some people didn't like that. But we were overall satisfied with the staff and whatever the place could offer.

very good peaceful stay.

Pros: easy to check in and out. the room was accessible. the hotel was quiet. had everything i needed like shampoo towels coffee. although nothing to stir coffee with.

Pros: Friendly, helpful staff. Good value. Reasonably clean and well-kept. Great location mid-way between the two town centres - approximately twenty minutes walk to each. We'd definitely stay again.

Cons: It's important to remember that this is a budget motel. You will definitely see parts of the property that are aging and fraying a bit at the edges. As long as you just need a safe, well-located, and reasonably clean and well kept place for a couple of days, you'll be fine. If you want anything remotely luxurious, then you'd best pay more for one of the other higher-end properties in town. A recommendation I'd have for the hotel is to switch to all white towels for the bathroom. White accentuates cleanliness. This is not to say that the dark blue towels currently in use are not clean - they very likely are. But white proves the cleanliness to the guest in that a towel or wash-cloth with an unremovable stain will be removed from circulation.

Pros: Location price mini fridge, tv, very clean bathroom air conditioner was very much needed owner was a lovely lady

Cons: Carpets were very dirty and need a really good clean but other than that the room was great

Pros: The location was central, easy to access any needed amenities with a vehicle. The staff was very friendly. The price is unmatched!

Pleasantly surprised at the value.

Pros: The Bluebird is an old motel pretty much in the center of Port Albernie. It is well maintained and up to date. I was pleasantly surprised at the comfort for the price. Thanks Randy Visco, Sooke, BC

A perfect place to stay with everything you need!

Pros: This is the best place to stay. It's clean and has everything needed. I've stayed here many times and every time it's the same great super friendly service. :-)

Cons: I had no problems. If I ever did, I'm sure management would have corrected it. All the guests I see here are happy too.
