A Beautiful, Spacious, and Welcoming Stay on the Sunshine Coast

Pros: I want to highlight the exceptional staff. My son accidentally left his iPad in our room, and we didn’t realize it until a week later. The team responded immediately, confirmed they had found it, and even helped us print a FedEx shipping label so we could get it back easily.

Cons: The location is excellent: just about an hour’s scenic drive from Gibsons Landing and close to many iconic sights on the Sunshine Coast. There’s also a charming village within walking distance (about 10 minutes on foot or 2 minutes by car) with great coffee, sushi, and a local market. We had a wonderful stay at Painted Boat Resort and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the Sunshine Coast. Our suite was incredibly spacious, spread over three floors, and located right next to the harbor. We especially loved watching the beautiful sunsets from our balcony — truly unforgettable views.

Very laid back and relaxing. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

Pros: The villa was big and spacious. Area was beautiful, and I was allowed to keep my kayak down by the dock which made it easy to get out on the water. All of the amenities were great. The hot tub, pool, and fitness center were a nice feature. For an additional fee we were able to bring our dog with us.

Cons: We didn't like the taste of the tap water.

Pros: The Resort is beautiful and the view is amazing. It is so quiet and peaceful. We loved the spa. The staff all over the resort were exceptional! We had an issue with the BBQ and they came to help right away. My massage at the spa was the best and we loved spending time in the Serenity Garden after and before out treatments. Great holiday with my girlfriends. Thank you for everything.
