Quiet, relaxing and quite wonderful

Cons: I think someone really needs to re-think the kind of sound and the volume thats played in the Great Room. How about some relaxing or good classical music instead of bland thumping \

Beautiful place to stay.

Pros: A really good quality small Lodge/Hotel right on Chesterman's beach/ Cox Bay - we had an ocean view room and the views were stunning. Generously sized rooms, immaculately clean with armchairs and blankets for sitting out on the balcony. We loved it as a 2 night base for our stay in Tofino. We ate there both nights as the food was excellent and saved us driving into town. Would recommend reserving your meal time.

Gorgeous setting and views

Pros: The view was stunning and the room and bed very comfortable. Staff were friendly and attentive and food for breakfast was delicious especially with the gorgeous view from the restaurant.

Cons: The lack of air conditioning made it rather uncomfortable for sleeping. We would have opened the patio doors and listened to the sea but we were on the ground floor so didn't feel safe doing that. Might be worth requesting an upper room. We were rather surprised there was no communal lounge area for relaxing out of your room, when the weather is not suitable for the outside spaces.

Cons: Front desk staff not the friendliest but restaurant staff are lovely and very attentive.

Pros: Location is everything here. It’s really Fabulous. Staff all extremely friendly. We had the ocean front rooms. I don’t know how I’d have felt in the rooms without a view.

Pros: The location was stunning, with access from the room directly to the beach. The room facilities were outstanding. Check in staff were lovely

Cons: There was a huge bath, but a strange shape , that made it difficult to get comfortable in. I was also disappointed with the food. It was very tasty, but quite expensive and very few seats allowed you to actually look out at the beach, which was the real selling point of the room. Our first server was lovely, very helpful, but our second server forgot items ordered and didn’t come across as friendly. It was also Marks Birthday and I had hoped to get him something special, but they didn’t do anything like that when I asked.

Amazing hotel and view, highly recommended!

Pros: Perfect location and amazing view; the beach is beautiful. The room was extremely clean, very spacious and cozy. Staff was very helpful and polite and the food was great.

Cons: Our room was next to the kitchen so sometimes there were a bit of noise and smell since we had to pass by the kitchen to go to the main area or simply exit the hotel.

Our stay was absolute bliss, from start to finish, thank you to everyone who made our stay a joy.

Pros: We loved being so close to the sea in a relaxed environment with very professional service. The food was excellent. We were also impressed with all the facilities and the little touches- the coffee press, water proof coats, sweets in a jar. We were grateful have access to free laundry facilities. We can’t fault our experience and would definitely come back.

Cons: Nothing could have been better we had a fabulous experience.
