Pacific Sands Beach Resort

The staff provided us with a beautiful ocean view condo which was an update from our original booking! Great stay!

Pros: Property is oceanfront. It has a variety of types of building accommodations.

Cons: It would have been nice to have an indoor restaurant. The 2 offerings were both outdoor /take away spaces which in Fall/Winter rainy conditions is not optimal. A hot tub option for apartment style would have been nice, too.

We would go back.

Pros: Location amazing. Spacious. Had everything we needed. Great coffee at Expresso.

Cons: Nothing.

Pros: The location is fantastic and the lighthouse suites are basic, but very clean. The massage and sauna facilities were excellent.

Cons: This resort is a family resort and not really ideal for couples as you have kids playing football in the space between the accommodations, and you have to occasionally duck. It's a very expensive resort for that atmosphere Also, be aware that the only restaurant/ take away is not exclusive to the resort so I spent 45 minutes waiting for my take away one evening.

Pros: Beautiful location on the beachfront with fire pits and cafe. Sunset lookout and walks nearby. Really friendly staff. Would love to stay again!

Perfect spot to relax and be active in the same time.

Pros: Location and the view. The beach was nice ,but cold. Firepits are a nice futear to have.

Cons: Limited food varieties.

Awesome getaway to nature.

Pros: It was awesome walking on the beach and seeing so many surfers, even at 6:30AM. Nice boardwalk through the woods. Room was more than comfortable. Wife said she felt at home.

Cons: There was nothing not to like !

Wonderful trip with my besties.

Pros: Beach, view and location all excellent. Loved our suite on the ground floor and being able to walk out of our room and go to the beach.

Cons: I found the booking experience frustrating. I wanted to get an exact location of our suite, how and where it was situated to the beach and relative to other suites, but this was not available. A map or overview of the site would have been helpful, something similar to when booking for a concert where you can see exactly how your seat is situated to the stage. Was a bit disappointed to find that our unit was located back and between 2 other buildings. We also found the pull out bed mattress to be very noisy.

It was our 4th stay at Pacific Sands, although the first in several years. Still our Favourite!

Pros: Amazing view from out balcony. Our suite was very well equiped (thankyou for real creamers in the fridge!) The fire-pits are a nice touch! The beach shack concession was much appreciated for great coffee and snacks. Although the resort was quite busy it was a tranquil oasis - Thank you!!

Pros: The location is great. The hotel is very clean, the bed was super comfortable and it's truly a pet friendly place. We would definitely come back.

Cons: It would the perfect room if the door had screens so that the door could be left open without mosquitoes going inside.

Cons: It is a 10 min drive to Tofino and similar to Utrecht, it would be quite limiting if you didn’t have a car and wanted to travel into town
