Canadian Princess Lodge & Marina

The Canadian Princess Lodge is a beautiful historic 46-room lodge and 250 ft marina. It is located on the west coast of Vancouver Island in Ucluelet, which is straddled between the famous Pacific Rim and the iconic Broken Islands. The lodge consists of standard rooms, lofts and suites. All rooms have fridges, microwaves, private balconies and free WiFi. Pet-friendly rooms are available upon request with an additional fee. The majority of our rooms have water views and some have garden views. The marina is also available for daily, weekly, monthly guest boat moorage and local marina tourism business rentals such as sport fishing, whale watching, kayaking. Wonderful stay. Would strongly recommend it to others. We will be back.

Pros: Location was excellent. Staff were all super friendly and helpful. Place was well run and very clean. We were also given information about eating places.

Cons: Nothing could be improved. We liked everything about it. One of the best places we have stayed in.

Great, will return.

Pros: The full experience was great. Spacious room for just the 2 of us, great view an all in room amenities were great. We had a dear just off our balcony enjoying the very large leaves. All in all though a great stay and will consider the Canadian Princess for future stays.

Cons: Was a little put off by young girls talking loud and running down the breezeways a few times after 11pm. I know this can not be controlled by staff to some degree and it did not carry on for long, just kids being kids I guess.

Wish we could have stayed longer.

Pros: We were upgraded to a loft room, huge for two people. Everything was very good, super clean, bed was comfortable. Got to see a deer in the car park.

Pros: The view was lovely and the loft room felt very open. The shared kitchen and laundry were both useful.

Cons: Bathroom was a bit small.

Pros: The lovely woman who checked us in was so kind. May several suggestions to ensure our stay was a good one. Our room was superb!!!

Cons: Cups in the room would have been nice. We had some wine but had to use plastic cups (that we brought with us!). Only paper cups were in the room.
