The Westin Bear Mountain Resort & Spa

Pros: When the breaker in our room broke, staff was very helpful and we ended up getting bumped to a bigger and nicer room.

We enjoyed our stay and thought the area was pretty

Pros: Great location and nice spacious room with a great view. Restaurant food and atmosphere were great.

Cons: Pillows on the bed weren’t comfortable. Sheets were stiff. There wasn’t anywhere to sit outside. Such a beautiful view and it could only be enjoyed from the restaurant or our balcony. We were lucky to have a balcony overlooking the golf course so we could sit out there but it would have been better to also have a place to lounge outside on the property. A pool would be a great addition to the property. We upgraded our room so we could enjoy the golf course view but had to pay an extra $50 per night.

Pros: Everything but the pool and hot tub issue. Staff and hotel (room) is amazing!! Restaurant was great too :)

Cons: the pool & hot tub not working and the pass they have is not for next door but like a 15 min drive away 😓

Pros: Lovely building, with recent renovations, meeting space was great, bathrooms were clean and catered food was very good. Staff were lovely and responsive. Parking was easy. The room was bigger than expected with a kitchenette and separate bath tub and shower. The TV was huge!

Cons: The sheets were quite scratchy and the climate control very poor. The room was very warm (23°) and my only option was to turn the heat on/off, which is nearly useless in a long skinny room surrounded by other hot rooms. I couldn't turn on A/C in the winter months. I opened the doors all the way for hours to get it to cool to a temperature comfortable enough to sleep.

Pros: Beautiful hotel up in the mountains. Chic hotel, very clean and classy. The staff are super friendly and helpful. The front desk manager Mark was amazing. He went above and beyond to help us out and made our stay an amazing experience.

Cons: How far the location is. It was nearly impossible to get an Uber or taxi. The hotel doesn't have a shuttle service which is unfortunate considering they're located secluded from everything. It took us over 45 mins to get a ride back to the hotel from the Stadium which is only 10 mins drive but over 1.5 hrs walk.

Special get-away at Westin Bear Mountain

Pros: Everything. Check in was easy as was check out. Room was wonderful with lots of room and lovely view over golf course. Breakfast in the restuarant was a treat as well.

Perfect location for our needs…peaceful and relaxing. Good food, great staff, nice atmosphere!

Pros: Love the location of our room with a vista of nature…golf course, green, lofty trees and an eagle in flight. It was so quiet and peaceful. The lounge and restaurant were great with attentive staff and good food.

Cons: Probably the only thing that comes to mind is ensuring that the kitchen was stocked with enough of the appropriate items necessary for a few days stay…ie. coffee, tea, sweeteners, creamers, dish cloth/ dryers. Also upon check-in, hotel staff to share with customers that there is a free parking option and where it is located.

A lovely facility made even better by an outstanding cadre of staff

Pros: Excellent! The best part of the Bear Mountain experience was the people. They were all uniformly delightful!
