Vancouver Backpacker House - 10 min walk to Metrotown skytrain station

Pros: It was convenient and close to Metrotown which was good because I needed the catch the sky train there. Yeah it was comfortable affordable. Everything was well organized. Staff was good. Price was great and yeah all around I was pleased with it.

Pros: It's a good price and the location is convenient. Has kitchen and laundry facilities, free on street parking. Close to Metro Vancouver.

Comfortable Budget Stay

Pros: Clean and budget-friendly stay. The bed was comfortable, with good shared facilities and a convenient location.

Pros: Super cozy and convenient! The hostel is in a quiet neighborhood, just a short walk from a big mall and the metro. Great kitchen space for cooking or working remotely.

Convenient, Cheap and Friendly - Vancouver Backpacker House

Pros: The best part about Vancouver Backpacker House was the friendly faces both from Max, the manager and Nancy the caretaker. They were very helpful and lovely to chat with. Nancy especially made me feel very welcomed in a city I was new to. The other guests are what truly makes a hostel experience worthwhile. I was introduced to many lovely folk and despite not being in the heart of downtown, Burnaby is still a side of BC I was happy to call my temporary home.

Cons: Admittedly due to the age of a place like this, the walls were quite thin and hard to adjust to at first.

Pros: It clean and well maintained hostel Each room has a private door alarm Very responsive host

Pros: I booked a single room to pre-study for school and the host gave me a double room with a large table and a chair to study! Shower never gets cold, and even had cookware. Got a lot done in those two days I stayed.

Comfortable and affordable

Pros: I enjoyed my stay here. Very comfortable place - well equipped kitchen and tidy fridge is available for use, multiple common areas, clean bathrooms with reliable hot water, good wifi, conveniently located next to Metrotown station and the shopping centre, easy check in process.

Cons: Not a super social hostel, but everyone was friendly

Pros: Its quiet and its comfy, very accessible to metro, groceries, shops and reastaurants.

Cons: Maybe the constant moving at the top level of the floor because I was staying at the basement level. I just wish the other shower the bigger one have adjusted hot water because its super hot 😅

Pros: I like the staff's service. Very nice and kind. If I don't know how to do. He or she will guide me how to solve problems.
