Pros: Location was perfect. Every room has individual heating so you can get the temperature you want.

Cons: Rooms are very small, bathroom is always locked you need keys to get in. Fridge is small too.

Pros: The location was great and the staff were very friendly and helpful. They got a laundry service, free coffee and you can rent a towel :)

Cons: On the first floor, you can hear the street and the bar below quite clearly. So, not for noise-sensitive people. On the plus side, it's warm. The second floor was nice and quiet, but a bit chilly :D. The kitchen could use some new pots and pans... Some of them wobble quite a bit on the stovetop.

Clean, comfortable, and welcoming!

Pros: I keep coming back here because the rooms, bathrooms, and kitchen are typically spotless! That's important for a comfortable stay. The staff on this visit - John, Celia, and Nacio - were professional, welcoming, and accommodating. Also, the location is perfect. 4/5 minutes from Waterfront skytrain and service to YVR. Good value for the money in downtown Vancouver. Highly recommended.

Cons: One night, I had a room facing the street. The noise was incessant...so no sleep at all. Next night, I swapped, and it was fine. So if you're sensitive to noise.... Could probably offer a little more in terms of coffee / tea.

Great base for a quick layover

Pros: We only stayed one night, in transit to Toronto, but were really happy with The Cambie. Really convenient location, great facilities, safe building. Would happily recommend.

Pros: Location, character of the building, it's heritage listed. The kitchen was a good size loads of seating space and great size fridge and lockers too for dry food. Particularly like how they provided all you needed to date and personalised your fridge items and the shelf of food people left that was free to take.

Accommodating place 100% would come again

Pros: I like how clean the place was And how quiet it was And how Yusuf and james on the front counter was super supportive and friendly during the whole time there I had a great night sleep, Thank you so much

Cons: thats a hard one because I was only there for such a short time.... there's really not much to not like, perhaps maybe the police sirens outside.... but that's something you can't control

Pros: Great location, felt very safe, comfy bed. Fun bar downstairs. Luggage storage was super helpful as I had a late night flight day of checkout and didnt want to be lugging around my suitcase all day. I loved the exposed brick and historic look of the building. Bathrooms were always clean. Stayed here once before and am looking forward to a third stay. Close to the skytrain and bus stops. Forgot to pack towel and was able to rent one.

Cons: No complaints. It was great.
