Really good price for a stay in downtown Vancouver

Pros: The staff is very friendly and always willing to help, Chio helped us with every question we had. The breakfast is also very good for a hostel

Cons: Some broken doors and shampoo dispensers in the showers, and the washrooms were not very clean

Perfect Location and Friendly Staff ⭐

Pros: Excellent location with easy access to public transportation. Breakfast was decent, although I would have preferred filtered coffee rather than instant. Overall, I had a good stay. The bed was comfortable, and the curtains offered great privacy. Pd: the staff is lovely, Really nice people.

Great spot to be part of the city

Pros: The location is brilliant being squarely in town, good access to the city surrounds. Most of the staff were very lovely and helpful. They do some great group activities/tours (Kathy is lovely) that give visitors a great way to see some of the closer good spots. They supply everything you need and the breakfast they put on is surprisingly good. A great place to stay to meet new people and enjoy a safe environment.

Cons: Available space/set up. The communal area is not super comfortable or easily able to handle the amount of people at full capacity. There is very little to no space in the share rooms. By cramming as many beds in as possible they've made it very difficult to move around or even fit people's bags. Unless you're a very small person you can't even move around without turning sideways.

Pros: Friendly staff, good vibe. Recently renovated. Breakfast was great.

Pros: Location of the hostel is amazing. Kudos for the staff to check me in earlier as I arrived very early morning to Vancouver. I was amazed by the fact that they are cleaning bathrooms every 2/3 hours so everything was spotless!

Great budget stay in downtown Vancouver!

Pros: Staff were incredible. Very kind and let me check in early. Breakfast was simple but sufficient. Good price. 4-bed dorm much more spacious than 6-bed dorm, which I've previously stayed in.

Great value for money. Clean and excellent for short stay

Pros: Apart from no elevator, everything is fantastic. Super clean and good amount of room. Perfect if traveling with backpack only.

Cons: The location can be a bit sketchy at night. It is on the Main Street, but just need to be a bit vigilant. Also noice can be loud from the street at night

Pros: this is my second time staying at Samesun Vancouver, always nice to see that the place maintains the same quality and comfort, staff are very friendly and nice. Breakfast is a good addition as well.
