Super 8 by Wyndham Calgary Shawnessy Area

Pros: Great location, professional and efficient staff, exceptionally clean through out entire building.

Would stay again

Pros: Location good. 2 mins walk from Walmart & multiple other food places. Good start of the day with hot breakfast:)

Cons: A little dated. Would benefit from renovation.

Pros: Breakfast was mediocre and the same every day. Variety would be nice.

Pros: The bed was comfy, overall the hotel was clean and nice. It was close to restaurants, Walmart next door and other amenities. 15 minutes or so drive to Chinook mall and roughly the same to Rockyview Hospital (which is why we were in town). Staff were very friendly and professional.

Cons: The heater in our room had a whistle that drove us crazy and kept us from getting a good night's sleep. While the hotel was nice and clean, if you looked closely you could see signs of the property in need of some basic upkeep such as rust showing through the corners of the bathroom door, areas where paint was needed etc.

Pros: I was able to complete my check in via phone earlier making coming to the hotel to sign in ao much faster. Room was clean.. had a mini fridge microwave and coffee maker. My kids loved the slide for the pool. Had a great continental breakfast.

Cons: Nothing. Was completely satisfied with everything.

Cons: Issues with the shower curtain and water spraying onto bathroom floor. Congested area for traffic flow and difficult to spot the building and signage if unfamiliar with the area

Good Hotel at a location that's very helpful.

Pros: I liked the facilities, the breakfast, the pool and hot tub, and the location is very good ti visit my friend. Rooms have a good size and variety.

Cons: Its nothing too fancy, and a little over priced. Breakfast ends about when I want to wake up. Breakfast is not great but functional. You appear to pay for it even though you may not eat it. Outdated TVs have no streaming services or ability to connect to your devices. Be prepared to watch cable or movies on your laptop.

Pros: Good location, clean rooms, and friendly staff — perfect for a one-night stopover while passing through.

Pros: The pool was great, the staff were kind and accommodating and I loved the location.

I stayed at this hotel 3 times whilst in Alberta…it felt like my second home :(

Pros: The staff were really great, very friendly and a credit to the organisation. There’s a pool (with a small water slide) and a gym for those wanting some leisure/fitness time.

Cons: The property was further from the airport and downtown than I thought, though the Uber cost was reasonable and the public transport to downtown and the tram from downtown to the hotel were cheap and efficient nb there are bars and restaurants nearby the hotel (McDonald’s too for budget dining) and lots of convenience stores eg Walmart, coop.
