Delta Hotels by Marriott Calgary South

Pros: the facilities it has and its proximity to everything

Cons: They didn't shake the beds and didn't leave towels

Pros: The upgraded room was fantastic! Restaurants in the hotel had vegan options. Convenient location.

Everyone at the Delta Marriot has treated me wonderful every single time that I stay with them.

Pros: I couldn't eat due to I had dental surgery, however my son loved it.

Pros: For my purposes, visiting my daughter who lives in south Calgary, the location was excellent. I did not use any of the facilities such as the pool, so can't really comment on that, apart from the fact that they were available. My room was spacious and well appointed. The breakfast, in the lobby area of the main building, was good and reasonably priced. I found the staff friendly and knowledgeable.

Cons: My room was in the Atrium Building and faced into the interior of the building, so was quite dark. In the mornings it could be quite noisy due to the sound of people in the lobby area reverberating up through the open centre of the building. The Wi-fi was only free if you are a Marriott-Bonvoy member.

Pros: I liked that we got moved to the atrium. The hotel was very accomodating for late check out.

Cons: I didn't like how many kids were in the pool.

Clean, quality amenities.

Pros: The hotel was quiet and rooms were nice too. I enjoyed the toiletries provided, found the quality of TV and other room amenities to meet my expectations. Although there is a pool in the hotel, there was not a sight of any chlorine smells which is exactly what I would expect from hotels but often not the case.

Cons: Would have liked to have found an extra flannel blanket in the closet. One of our rooms air conditioners was not working properly, the temperature in the room wasn't terribly hot but a cooler room is best for optimal sleeping.

Pros: Breakfast was great. Service not so but thank you to one young lady who noticed no menus after a long wait then breakfast came asked three girls for a coffee warm up as well as butter for pancakes & never came. Wished I new the young lady paying attention as she then served us well & gave us coupons for a free breakfast

Pros: We got an early check in and they offered a complimentary breakfast. The food was fantastic!

Pros: Breakfast meals tasted great! The pools were nice. Staff was polite!

Cons: One waitress needed more training in the restaurant. Served us hot chocolate that was cold. My grandson spilt it because the cup was really heavy for him. She never topped our coffee, we asked another waitress on shift. She tried to take our extra ticket when we only had three meals because our one grandchild only ate my toast. Waitress was a bit scattered. The woman that served us the day before for breakfast was a phenomenal server. She was absolutely incredible. Gave her a good tip!
