This hotel is a refuge from the big city - we look forward to staying here!!

Pros: Some might say Wingate South is a bit tough to get to - BUT that is what makes it charming and why we keep coming back. It is a bit off the beaten trail and down in a lovely little valley that keeps the traffic and city noise out of this little precious spot.

Pros: Breakfast was typical continental breakfast, nothing special. Bed was super comfy. Room was good sized and clean.

Cons: Hot tub wasn't working on our visit. A bit tricky to get to but parking was fine.

Weekend Visit.

Pros: Great location, very clean and comfortable. The beds are very comfortable. Descent breakfast with pork sausage, eggs, toast and a pancake station. We did not use the pool but it looked nice.

Cons: No complaints.

A great, comfortable stay in South Calgary for good value

Pros: Breakfast was a nice surprise. A big step above the typical underwhelming continental style breakfasts that are typically served at similar hotels :)

Cons: Not sure if the waterslide was operational, but that's obviously not important!

Great hotel!

Pros: Monday, October 1st check in around 8pm - the front desk lady was exceptional. The bathrooms had new caulking and were clean. I loved that they provide shower amenities in the dispensers and not the little bottles. The breakfast was really good. Everything was clean and comfortable.

Wingate by Wyndham is the nicest hotel I have stayed in.

Pros: I've never been in such a nice hotel. What impressed me the most was the spaciousness. The rooms, the breakfast area, everything was very open and bigger than most hotels. The breakfast hours were long and the food provided was substantial, with lots of variety. The staff were very friendly and helpful, in fact the cleaning staff was like family.

Cons: The Pepsi vending machine was always empty and made a loud noise in the hallway. I would have liked to buy snacks near the reception desk, and would also have appreciated an ATM machine in the lobby since there were no banks or other facilities nearby that provided this.

This hotel is in a great location close to shopping malls, movie theaters, and restaurants.

Pros: The breakfast was good. Lots of choices. We couldn't believe how spacious the room was. Lots of open space. Enjoyed the location off Mcleod Trail. Tucked away from all the businesses. Has a nice fitness room with a variety of equipment and a TV. The pool with slide and hot tub looked fun, but we didn't have time. Maybe next time.

Cons: Nothing. It was all good.
