Pros: Quiet spot, friendly staff, Ricky's breakfast was amazing

Cons: Pop machine was pretty empty

Half board was great value. Dinner at Ricky's was great

Pros: Good breakfast with a few options. We were all able to find something we liked

Overall it was lovely! Continental breakfast, Ricki's, the pool and hot tub. We will stay again.

Pros: The continental breakfast was amazing, and the lady host was very friendly and accommodating. Lots of variety to choose from. A plus was that it had its own dining room and server I stead of a setup in a lobby. I also loved the pool and hot tub!

Cons: When we phoned to confirm booking, we asked for a late checkout. When we got to the hotel to check in, we again confirmed we had a late checkout and that a note was left. In the morning of checkout, at 10:30, we got a call from the front desk saying that housekeeping phoned the desk and was wondering if we were going to check out, and that the desk guy couldn't remember if we wanted a checkout at noon so he was phoning to ask what time we requested. Then, when we hung up the phone, housekeeping knocked on our door and looked surprised when I answered, they didn't think anyone was inside and were going to clean our room. When we Did check out, the same person at the desk apologized and said there were a lot of notes left for him and he missed the one about us wanting a late checkout, even though he was the worker who made a note when we confirmed booking. And then the desk staff when we checked in the night before made sure there was a note and assured us there was one.

I liked it and would stay there again.

Pros: I liked the staff, plenty of free parking, good breakfast, good dinner at Rickys.

Cons: Hot tub was somewhat small and did not have jets. A tad far from downtown (by foot)

Great stay in convenient location

Pros: Staff were super friendly and accommodating and the room was very comfy and quiet!

Pros: Very friendly staff. Quiet hotel, enjoyable pool and hot tub. We were here for our son's wedding and it was lovely to not have to worry about everything as the rooms were equipped with irons, comfy furniture, a relaxed vibe. I feel like we were possibly upgraded from what we originally booked. Bonus: We couldn't hear traffic, had a great sleep, and Ricky's was great for social time.

Cons: I would have loved a full length mirror for getting ready for the event. It would also have been nice to be able to use debit or credit on the drink vending machines or use of an atm. Thank goodness for friends who carry change. But not a huge inconvenience at all.

Pros: Great location, room was large and clean. Front desk staff very friendly and helpful.

Cons: Parking with a large vehicle was challenging. We were pulling a U-Haul trailer and the parking is on a hill in many spots. The Ricki's Restaurant was mediocre at best.

Enjoyable stay again!

Pros: We found the staff friendly and worked fast and efficiently. We found the hotel room clean. This hotel is a bit dated, the restaurant I wouldn't go to with Alice's so close down the block for amazing breakfast! Seriously, go try them! I've stayed here multiple times and often book this hotel for artists staying in town as its a very reliable experience for me when I stay there and the pool is a bonus. Staff are the standout for me although the person checking us in did seem a bit frustrated and overwhelmed with us for asking simple questions and it left me feeling a bit odd. All other staff were very friendly but she seemed to be frustrated by me, but it was also busy and she was the only staff on during check in at the desk at that time.

Cons: It would be nice if the pool hours were a bit longer as we never seem to have quite enough time to make it or there are children there when we do..maybe 5am-1am or something would be nice. was a bit warmer than expected and the ac was a bit antiquated and loud - but that's a very minor complaint. Found the bedding a little less than comfy and my blanket a bit thin but again, a minor complaint. Also would be nice if continental went a bit later as we always miss that perk as well. I'd definitely book here for my clients more often if there were more flexible hours for these things for people providing entertainment in the city even!
