Sand Pebbles Inn

Pros: The room was large, clean and comfortable. The view from my upstairs balcony was incredible. I've never stayed closer to the ocean except at Malibu in California. The staff were exceptionally helpful. I had a late night dual emergency - no internet and locked myself out of my room. Staff came to my assistance.

We loved every minute.

Pros: There was no breakfast served - nor did we expect one. The location was perfect. There was a tv in our room, but we never turned it on - just gazed across the water and listened to the surf. Bliss.

Sea View Retreat

Pros: The location on the beach at Qualicum Beach is amazing. The sunset views, otters, seals and whales pass right by. The balcony was our favourite part. The bed was very comfortable and the shower was good. It was very clean and you could tell the unit was newly renovated (new floors and newly painted walls).

Cons: Nothing really. It is an older property so there is a bit of wear and tear to the exterior but that was expected and will eventually be rectified and the beach location and views just make up for it.

Great visit.

Pros: Location was great but it got the late sun which heated up the room.

Cons: No issues.

We will be back!

Pros: Amazing location just by the beach and a very short car ride from the center of Qualicum. Big clean room and the water pressure for the shower is great (no bathtub but that was fine with us). A great unfussy place that we would come back to without hesitation!

Good waterfront accommodation

Pros: The location is excellent. Enjoyed the courtyard with waterfront views. Friendly reception. Very clean.

Cons: No AC - we were there during a heat wave. They had set up a large fan in our room, moving air around.

Pleasant stay

Pros: Location is fantastic, right on the beach. Rooms are nicely updated and quite large.

Cons: No air conditioning, which is tolerable with the patio doors open. But there are no screens, so keeping the doors open isn't ideal. The beds were kind of short, my husband is 6'3 and his ankles were off the bed. He had to sleep diagonally to fit. I'm 5'5 and my feet were at the end of the bed. Not a huge deal, but for some, it might matter.

Great little motel on the Ocean.

Pros: Nice view and cosy rooms. It's a great little place and we would stay again.

Cons: Not very private, no AC and no bathtub.Pretty pricey for what it is overall but that's just the cost of staying anywhere these days.

Peaceful and relaxing, exactly what we needed.

Pros: I loved the location. The traffic noise wasn’t too bad and the waterfront location meant that I could listen to the waves crashing onto the beach all night. The patio is private and the view of the strait was amazing.

Cons: I had to run the hot water forever (at least 5 minutes) before I could shower.

A very pleasant motel with comfortable beds and a lovely view.

Pros: The motel was clean and the mattresses were extremely comfortable. Each main floor room that I saw had sliding doors out onto a lawn overlooking the water. The upper levels had balconies looking over the water. I requested a main level room as I have mobility challenges and this was arranged. The staff were very friendly and recommended several nice restaurants.
