Pros: Staff were friendly and helpful, room was very clean and welcoming. Beds were very comfortable. Sound between units (or from outside the unit at all) was extremely minimal. Fantastic view from all the units means there isn't a bad option. The breakfast options were excellent, and the restaurant staff worked hard to keep up with all the people coming through.

Cons: We cant think of anything that was not good during our stay.

Pros: Great location, short drive to city center, clean rooms, overall very quiet hotel. Great place to get away from daily routine and enjoy the beach.

Cons: Nothing really comes to my mind. We liked everything.

Pros: Beautiful resort...beautiful location and ocean view. Good buffet.

Cons: I did not like my friend over drinking and being loud enough to warrent a noise complaint. Please accept my sincere apologies. It was my 60th birthday and she got a little to loud. I hope to return in the future and I wont be inviting her again. I respect your property, staff and services. Thankyou.0

Staying was great and exceeds our expectations!

Pros: View from our room was great! We had a delicious dinner and exceptional breakfast at hotel restaurant! Walking on the beach after breakfast was breathtaking! We made a lot of stunning pictures that made our get away vacation time so memorable!

Great Family Getaway!

Pros: View of the beach and ocean was beautiful. Balcony is large. Beds really comfortable. Room size is generous. Shower is spacious.

Cons: Browns social house menu is limited. Bathroom is small can barley close the door if your inside.

Loved the room, the beach, the convenience to everything. Will return to this resort in the spring.

Pros: The buffet breakfast included in the cost, was excellent with a great selection of foods.

Truly enjoyable stay

Pros: Our stay at this hotel was absolutely amazing! From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel so welcome and went above and beyond to make our experience special. We had requested a room on the second floor, and they kindly accommodated our request — the view was beautiful and made our stay even more enjoyable. The room was clean and cozy, and overall, the service was excellent.

Cons: The only small things we noticed were that slippers were missing in the room — the floor felt quite cold, especially after a shower — and the breakfast menu was the same every day. It would be great to see a bit more variety, maybe with some greens or vegetables added. Other than that, everything was perfect. We truly enjoyed our time here and would definitely love to come back again!

I would definitely recommend to travellers, new or seasoned in Tofino experience.

Pros: All rooms have nice ocean views. Awesome location, and nice to have a good restaurant on property.

Cons: We had a mini suite, and the pull out couch was terrible to sit on.

The price for 3 nights incl. breakfast and taxes was $1160 - way overpriced.

Pros: The location is fantastic. It is the main draw given that the design of the all rooms in this hotel/motel/resort (not sure how to qualify it) are facing the water. The room was spacious enough. Beds and mattresses comfortable. Good lighting by the bed as well as sufficient electric and wifi sockets. We were on the 2 level - between 1st and 3d and it was quiet although the place appeared to have been almost fully booked. The garden is well maintained and inviting with 2 BBQ stations and 3 fire pits surrounded by Adirondack chairs. There are several other amenities on the grounds which we haven’t used. The entire premises are clean and well looked after.

Cons: The room would have benefitted from some minor attention to details which would have made the room experience perfect: a safety grab bar inside the shower stall and a small stool in the bathroom; an additional electric socket for kettle and toaster in the kitchenette area (we had to use the bathroom one); plates and cutlery in the kitchenette so we wouldn’t have had to ask the room maid for it; after all, there is a microwave in the kitchenette); a small laundry rack on the balcony to avoid having to hang sandy towels over the bathtub. The safe box in the closet should be lowered bc it is placed too high to use. We have been visiting the Tin Wiz since the early 1990s. It has been our favourite accommodation in Tofino. Among its attractions back then was the breakfast and the dinner. They were true West Coast; they were healthy and yummy; the dining area was very pleasant and inviting. We know that this delight has sadly long been gone. However, replacing it with a noisy bar experience is, in our view, a big mistake. The current restaurant has a limited bar dinner menu. The Music is deafening and unpleasant. The table setting is the minimal possible that can be offered. Water isn’t served at the outset as customary in North American restaurants, and not at all without us requesting. We learned that the server must first place the drink coasters before bringing any beverages/food. The breakfast is laden with sugar, heavy on fatty food, poor on fresh and healthy ingredients, absent West Coast ingredients (we remember the yummy salmon scrambled egg served there in the 1990s), and very loud music. The choice of this dining experience is sad especially given the serene and magic natural environment in which the Tin Wiz is basking.
