Pros: The service was great and the food was even better. Coming on boxing day was so nice to see everything so decorated and being walking distance from our favorite stores didn't hurt either.

Cons: The bed and pillows weren't the most comfortable in my opinion but that's not the worst thing in the world.

Beautiful historic Inn, with the most amazing high tea breakfast included

Pros: This classic historical Inn was the perfect stay in beautiful Victoria. This heritage building with lovely tearoom, antique furnished rooms & beautiful exterior lighting at night was exactly what we were looking for to celebrate my 60th birthday. The high tea breakfast that was including was outstanding. We also spoiled ourselves with the afternoon high tea in the quaint tearooms in the downstairs area. We stayed on the second floor in the Pendray room with beautiful views over the inner harbour.

Cons: Our room was on the second floor, and we knew this at booking, we had large bags however we did get assistance to take them up the stairs. The beautiful timber antique stairs were no problem once our bags were in our room. Actually, a lift in this building would spoil the historic feel of staying here.

Great old building in prime location.

Pros: Fantastic location by the harbour. Old mansion full of character. Beautifully presented and delicious breakfast.

Cons: Room and bathroom quite cold and draughty. Price you pay for an old building full of character.

Great breakfast, good location , unfortunately noisy opposite. parking would be a compensatory gesture.

Pros: Beautiful old heritage building, large bedroom and excellent location. Excellent breakfast provided . Emmerson on front desk reception was courteous and friendly.

Cons: No lift. We had to carry our bags up two flights of stairs. There was a lot of noisy construction across the road for the new ferry terminal. Certainly not the harbour view we booked! It was a demolition site! Would have been nice to offer free parking as compensation

Super period property with great staff and excellent breakfast

Pros: Beautiful Victorian (as in Queen Victoria) hotel with period features throughout. Only 10 en-suite bedrooms on two floors, reached by staircases (no elevators). Great friendly, knowledgable and helpful staff. Complimentary breakfast served on a cake stand with a vast choice of teas. Great location

Cons: Bathroom in room 8 has a hip bath with hand held shower under a restricting sloped ceiling: difficult for tall guests

Quirky hotel in superb location to visit Victoria

Pros: Fantastic quirky hotel that provides an exceptional service. Breakfast was lovely and the cream teas looked amazing. The location was perfect with all the main attractions being about 15 minute walk.

Cons: With no elevator the top floor was a challenge with large suitcases

Cons: Know it was fitting with the property was bath / shower was a bit of a pain. Small issue though.
