Sandman Hotel Castlegar

Pros: We lived the room, very comfortable bed and bed linens. Breakfast had many options. Good locations. Good price

Pros: Great location and the continental breakfast was very good.

Pros: nice reno job on old hotel. rooms modern and immaculate.

Pros: Staff was friendly and helpful. Room was well cleaned and has all the amenities. Easy checkout.

I had a totally relaxing stay, thanks to the friendly staff at the front desk (Joy & Marie).

Pros: I loved the location, within walking distance to main restaurants/shops, etc. I also enjoyed the pool/jacuzzi area which was well maintained. I loved the friendly staff and the complimentary coffee/fruit in the lobby area.

Cons: I missed a restaurant in the hotel, which would have given it extra flair.

Was very comfortable and relaxing

Pros: Easy to find and in a great position. Big rooms and clean and tidy

Cons: The key cards rarely worked and had to get there programmed a couple of times and we left the “ please replenish our room “ sign on the door but no one ever came so we were out of coffee.and cutlery.

Pros: Great hotel for quick stopover on our way back to Vancouver. The family suite has x3 double beds and plenty of room for luggage.

Cons: Bit noisy from road and train noise.

Castlegar Experience

Pros: The bed was super comfy after a long day of driving. The front clerk was super friendly and helpful. Facilities were clean, and the room was huge

Cons: The only thing is that the continental breakfast should have a protein being served, but thank you for offering one!

Pros: Treated kids with respect. Actually talked with them

Good not Great

Pros: Good value, nice pool and hot tub. Beds were comfy and rooms were sound proof. Slept great.

Cons: The breakfast was pretty weak considering it was 7$+tax per person.
