Would stay again for overnights In Nelson - we live locally

Pros: Great location, easy check in, comfortable bed Staff were super sweet and freindly Big bathroom very clean (shower cap would be nice)

Cons: I have food allergies (dairy/egg/wheat) so I can't eat any baked goods and would have appreciated a milk alternative for coffee in the morning but I was able to eat the fruit provided There were some noisy people down the hall but not for very long

A wonderful stay in Nelson

Pros: The Oak Hotel was wonderful. So clean, friendly helpful staff, perfect location, comfortable. It certainly met all of our needs. We will gladly stay there anytime we are in Nelson.

Cons: We are not used to allowing a damage hold on our credit card.

A lovely stay in the centre of Nelson

Pros: The breakfast was the only part of the stay that wasn't excellent. Not much variety, and they ran out of coffee.

Small and wonderful place right downtown.

Pros: What a find! Right downtown. Easy check in, great communication before and during trip. Friendly staff. Great breakfast too and so clean with comfy beds

Cons: Parking is on the street and free from 5pm - 9 am. Had to get up earlier than we wanted to plug the meter.

Perfect

Pros: It was all very newly decorated and stylish. Complimentary breakfast was great. Central for the historic Baker Street restaurants and shops. Comfy bed. We were there over thanksgiving so parking outside on the meters was free. Not sure how it would have worked otherwise.

Cons: As usual, I find with most hotels, shower head designed for men only. I.e. No doucher.
