Coast Courtenay Hotel

Pros: I arrived there on the evening of Thursday, February 26. The young man at the front desk was refreshingly professional and eloquent. I was very impressed with how helpful and respectful he was. You are lucky to have him working with you!

Cons: The lock on the window could use to be replaced.

Pros: I loved everything about this hotel. Staff was very attentive and really want to make sure your stay is the best experience. Rooms were clean, we loved the comfortable beds and pillows. Location was great with restaurants and stores close by. Excellent definitely recommend

Cons: The water faucet is quite loud. Not sure why. The bathroom it self is a bit small. I think a very large person may have difficulties getting in to sit on the toilet. We are average in size so we were fine.

Pros: The staff are wonderful - both friendly and helpful. The room was clean, quiet, and comfortable. I especially liked the real glasses and ceramic cups instead of the usual disposable items. The fancy coffee was also great.

Cons: I really can't think of anything I did not like, although a microwave in the room might have been nice instead of going to the common room in the lobby to use one.

Pros: Very modern. The staff where so helpful and friendly. Offered us extra towels and a nice warm extra blanket. Parking there was lots of and it was close to our room. I looooved the rain shower, bed, tv, mirror light. The towels were soo big and soft and thick.

Cons: My girlfriend was a little afraid of some spidera and spider webs at night outside the rooms. The price on booking was $165. But apparently the property if called directly was $135. So I know to book with them directly next time.

Great staff; good location!

Pros: The staff was fantastic. The room was clean and the location is very convenient as well. It is also pet friendly.

Cons: The noise. “The guest in the room above us was up quite early (around 4:00 AM), and the sound of footsteps carried into our room, waking me up. Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to fall back asleep afterward. For a quieter experience, I would recommend requesting a room on the upper level.” I also found the room we were in very small.

A good, well priced, modern clean stay, comfortable for 1-2 nights, but no microwave or table/chairs

Pros: Coast did a very good job of revamping an old Traveller’s Inn. Nice walk in rain shower, no tub. Very modern look in color and use of materials. Beds were nice. Great Courtenay location…walk to so many things.

Cons: No microwave…that is a game changer for me. Also no small inside table with at least 2 chairs for either eating or your work iPad/laptop.
