Cons: The only negative was that I thought the hot water tap was broken because it was minutes of cold water before it finally warmed up. Same with the shower, cold water for a few minutes. The shower was fabulous once the temperature was right!

Cons: The walls are thin, you could hear folks at 3 a.m. coming in and talking not just in halls but also in their rooms down the hall. It is just not well insulated. Wear ear plugs and you'll do okay. Could only walk on one side of bed. Still worth the stay.

Pros: We had a large room with fantastic harbour views. The bathroom is modern with a very good shower. The staff was extremly friendly and helpful.

Cons: It is a bit noisy during ferry operating hours.

Pros: Hotel in the process of renovations. Front desk (Marwa) very hospitable and accommodating. Called our room after check in to ensure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. Offered assistance to carry up our bags. Nice touch! Very convenient location just off the ferry with views of the terminal. Quiet room. Prompt assistance with levelling the refridgerator. Room was nicely renovated and had a wonderful rain shower. Free parking.

Cons: Room was tight particularly between the end of the bed and TV wall. Not enough room for 2 people to pass. Floor a little uneven. No elevator. Steep sidewalks around building. Limited lobby entrance parking and signage.

Cons: Super tight room layout, on the top floor but sounded like people were walking above us, sound traveled from hallway and other rooms, no elevator.

Pros: Marine Inn was a lovely surprise to our family - great location to use as a base for exploring the town and nearby places (we went to Lund and Saltery Bay). Our rooms were clean and comfortable, the toiletries, amenities were great, the staff attentive and helpful, and we liked that it's close to the ferry terminal (very helpful in the summer!). We enjoyed walking to the nearby shops and restaurants, and having free parking on-site. Special shout out to Maegan who did an exceptional job getting our room sparkling and ready for an earlier check in. Thank you Marine Inn team!

Unique and modern styling with great value if you don't mind the stairs.

Pros: My wife had a recent knee injury and the hostess offered a room swap to a main floor room. The room was bright and modern. The shower had a rainfall showerhead and the bed was comfortable. The ferry terminal is just across the street.

Cons: Parking was limited and I struggled to find a spot. There is no elevator so we had to carry our heavy luggage up a long flight of stairs and a steep sidewalk from the parking lot. There was no chair in the room, just the beds to sit on.
