Cute little Home away from Home

Pros: I love the atmosphere of this hotel. It really feels like a home away from home. The location is also exceptional! It is not ideal if you need a very quiet room, as these units are right on the skytrain line. But they are gorgeous little apartments and we only stay at this hotel when we visit the mainland.

Pros: I loved the staff , location and value for money . I suggest the facility provide cleaning materials and equipments - the weekly clean up was not sufficient .. I think it was just overwhelming for very hard working young people .. once in a while a professional clean would be great . Staff Were very responsive , the facility is close to Westminster sky train station , the river market and ideal for 3 minutes walk to the river .. loved my time

Pros: The sheer architecture and all the adornments has you living somewhat in the early 1900s. The Check in process was easy, the staff amazing and the owner a real gem. This place is by far the coolest hotel I have ever stayed in and the value was phenomenal. Every room is an entire 1 bedroom apartment loaded with anything you would need for a comfortable stay that feels like home. The Antique lift is fun and beautiful. The building is secure. Located right in the downtown core of New Westminster everything you need for food, shopping and transit options is within 1 block walking distance. A real hidden gem if I ever found one.

Cons: There is nothing I did not like, though for people who prefer a modern feel, you won't enjoy Arundel. Floors are old and creak, rooms are darker (except the kitchen) and bathtub is better suited for baths (though it is possible to shower). Note to management: Please NEVER change any of these things - they are a huge part of the charm and warmth of the place!

Pros: spacious place I stayed for 7 days.. plus Its proximity to the metro and shops is very convenient, and I will surely visit again. I’m glad to have stayed in a 100-year-old building—so many memories are made here. Plus its really spacioussss!!!!! - cynthia

Excellent place to stay in a great location and amazing staff.

Pros: I have stayed at this hotel many times over the last few years and I absolutely adore it. It has a home away from home feel. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. The rooms are more like suites, with separate bedroom, living room, bathroom and kitchen. It is conveniently steps away from many restaurants and public transportation. I highly recommend staying at this hotel and we will definitely be back.

Pros: Love old buildings with character. Beautiful features.

Cons: Old buildings are money pits, there are some issues that regulate maintenance would help with. Staff cleaning is up to date , maintenance is the managements responsibility.

Pros: super cool piece of history. felt like we were time traveling.

Cons: no a/c. not really a huge issue but we chose to stay during the hottest days of the year. sky train was really close, we are from the country and not used to constant noise.

Pros: We stay here often and it is always a welcoming place. If you like retro styling you will love it here. Parking is limited but available if you're checking in earlier

Pros: Very unique room. Like being transported back in time. Lots of space. Helpful, caring staff.

Cons: There were some sketchy people around back. However, it is not because of the hotel. It is due to the proximity to the skytrain station. That is convenient, however, it sometimes comes with unsavory people nearby. That noted, no one touched our vehicle or bothered us in any way.
