Holiday Inn Express Vancouver-Metrotown (Burnaby)

Pros: The manager greeted us with complimentary snacks and bottle water in our room. Breakfast was excellent

Fantastic location and service, but room felt cramped for the price

Pros: Very friendly staff, great breakfast, location is phenomenal (lots of restaurants nearby and close to the Bonsor Recreation Center). Parking is included (although not secured).

Cons: The king room was very small, with a very small window - kind of claustrophobic, but still comfortable. We expected more space for what we paid.

Pros: Breakfast was great, nice selection of hot and cold food, and well stocked! Tables were clean and there was lots of staff on hand to help keep things clean and stocked. Rooms were comfortable, and enjoyed the bathroom soaps/shampoos supplies that were environmentally friendly. Skytrain was close by which we used. There is lots of activity in this area of town, but our room was quite and we felt safe.

Pros: The facilities were comfortable and practical. The bed was soft and comfy. The location was fantastic with the Skytrain across the road. Also there were lots of places to eat nearby on Kingsway. We also liked that the hotel employed people with a disability,

Favulous stay in Burnaby - we’ll be back!

Pros: Right across the road from the Metrotown station & you can be in central Vancouver in about 15 to 20 mins. Breakfast was great - and the staff were wonderful! In fact all staff in the hotel were extremely helpful and courteous at all times. Very close to Canada’s largest shopping mall, & lots of other retail outlets, bars and restaurants. Never used the pool or gym, but all looked very good.

Cons: Only two very tiny issues for us. Just felt that the room was very dim and could have done with a main light option. Also, the pillows were a little bit ‘overstuffed’ for our liking! Other than that … bravo!

Great location and breakfast

Pros: Great location skytrain and busses are right across the street so you can enjoy the whole city

Pros: Every staff member treated us with such genuine kindness. The breakfast exceeded my expectations by having so many options. Being right at metrotown- I couldn't have asked for a better location.

Cons: It was very expensive but I understand it's summertime and it costs a lot everywhere.

Pros: Location was very central, staff was very efficient and helpful, Hotel was very clean with swimming pool and gym. Would recommend it.

Cons: Could not complain about anything.
