Pros: Port Renfrew is stunning, and the seaside cottages are in an amazing location. We stayed last year in the cottages right on the beach, but chose the wharfside cottages this time as they were a bit more affordable. We felt that the check in process has improved, with reception open until 6pm and Willa was very welcoming. Last year the check in had closed early and, after a long drive, there was just an envelope left for us - we didn't necessarily feel very welcome. The cottages are central to so many amazing hiking trails but they are also the perfect place to do nothing. Truly amazing art of Canada

Cons: There was a microwave and crockery in the room, but we would have liked a dish for cooking a basic meal. The outside lights outside our room were shining into our room all night. However, as soon as we mentioned it to the lovely staff member the next day, he fixed it immediately. Due to its remote location, there are often blackouts, so expect that this may interfere with some of the timers and sendor lights. A minor issue for a stunning location.

Well equipped room on a beautiful cove. Enjoyed the gas fireplace on the deck.

Pros: Great waterfront location. Basic but well supplied kitchen.

Cons: I never could connect to the internet! Password wasn't working. But I didn't ask staff to help. I also found the door lock system to be fussy -- but that could have been my incompetency!

It was a perfect weekend getaway for our family.

Pros: The quietness and serene beauty of the setting. It was a special occasion for our family so the accommodations were perfect!

Cons: Honestly, I can’t think of anything I did not like.

Quiet location with amazing views and wildlife

Pros: Such a beautiful location with great access to walks and wildlife. We saw a family of river otters regularly from our room. The surrounding mountain views are amazing. The pub is close by which was really handy and enjoyable. We’d love to come back here.

Great place to stay and very relaxing

Pros: The walk on the pier was nice and also the beach. It was also a nice little walk to the coffee hut in the morning, the propane fires in the evening were very nice

Cons: The drive in towards the cabins was a little confusing but it was also my first time being there and also the fire pit was confusing because on the site it only mentioned the one switch for the gas but there was actually two (the yellow and red)

Beautiful place to slow down and enjoy the view!

Pros: Beautiful, scenic, peaceful setting. Gorgeous place to slow down and keep things simple. Beds very comfortable and spacious king! Hot tub greatly appreciated too, along with fire pit!

Cons: WiFi was a rather intermittent and when clearing out realised how no cleaning under the beds recently, as a bit dusty. Certainly no deal breaker though.

Pros: Beautiful location, lovely views and short stroll to pub or cafe. Didn’t meet any of the staff which is why I’ve given a neutral rating, however we had everything we needed and could easily access the property.
