Location works. The rest is ok.

Pros: Location is ideal if you need to be in the Rockies overnight. Pub was nice.

Cons: It's expensive. Had to book really late in season to get a reasonable price. Facilities are basic. More a Motel than a Hotel.

Great location

Pros: Great location, halfway on the Parkway, allowing us to take our time driving the Parkway over two days. The tavern, cafe/diner were an extra bonus that we weren't expecting.

Waking up in the Mountains

Pros: I love the proximity to the Rockies and Abraham Lake

Cons: We just missed the buffet by a week, as they're getting ready to close for the season.

Mountains Views on the Icefields Parkway

Pros: Location is the key for us. A good stopping point along the Icefields Parkway. The rooms were comfortable if rather dark. The highlight was the lovely bar terrace where we enjoyed our drinks looking at mountains.

Pros: The location was great, right in the middle of road trip between Jasper and Banff. A quick stop by Mistaya Canyon before sunset was a good activity, only 10 min drive from hotel. The food was not too pricey.
